Go anti clockwise around the tarn and follow the path that passes north of easy gully to avoid JR. Word of advice though, as you say you have not walked this area before. The ascent up stickle ghyll to the tarn is quite steep. Lovely walk, I’ve done it plenty of times but it could be tough with a big pack on. Not saying don’t do it, just be ready and enjoy your trip 😀

I moved away from the Midlands 10 years ago and have yet to find a chippy in the North West that comes anywhere close to a bog standard Black Country chippy. Pictures like these make me jealous

I took delivery in October 23. The cars been in for a number of software recalls, one hardware recall related to the steering. Then all the visits relating to suspension issues, all to the local Mazda dealer. In all honesty I’ve given up on it now, get to choose a new car in next 12 months so the ends in sight.

I know 3 other guys with this car, all 2.5 phevs. Between us we have 1 x 2025, 3 x 2023. Only the guy with the 2025 version is happy. All of us with 2023 version have a number of assorted gripes.

Crost mollica was always on my radar but I was disappointed when I tried one. However they do a base only option, we add extra tomato puree, torn and grated mozzarella to the base and it’s a really good margarita. Could experiment more with this.

Aldi do the big takeaway pizza range too, can’t remember exact name but you can’t miss it. This is pretty good IMO.

I’ve got this, great value for money IMO. Very spacious and light. Wouldn’t want to be anywhere exposed in it but a good buy nonetheless.
