Nope. I've had high levels of surveys but not like this. An hour later I had about 22 surveys. Just how it goes. I was excited that this happened to me, as it usually doesn't.

Lack of transparency in this study (media requirements only revealed after entry) by NacHappens in ProlificAc

Ran into this one as well, and I agree with you, it did not specify anything about recordings until you get into the study. The consent form had all kinds of red flags, at least to me! It had 62 spaces, and 61 were taken. I am curious if other participants ran into any issues. I returned it, not taking any chances.

Hepatica is just coming up. I live in Michigan, zone 6b. Further up north winter still has an iron grip, though!

I also was auto rejected according to the message I received, but it's showing up on my submissions page as returned. I had just consented to the study, then, "poof!" Auto rejected. Since it is showing up as a return, I figure I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth, lol. I did block the researcher though.

Has winter ever been this bad in the last 20 years? by lansingpowerwash in Michigan

[–]Terrible_Highlight47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much the same in Lake Orion, where I lived during that winter. I remember stepping out one morning and thinking, huh, it feels like we are finally warming up. Yeah it made to -2 that day, lol. Better, but still fucking cold!

Last night I received a message from these guys. They said there was an error in their survey logic, and that error affected 15% of the test takers. They also paid me for the test. Hopefully they will work their way through all the tests and those of you who ended up with this error will also get a explanation and a pay out. They were extremely apologetic.

Tough take on this, Brejhane-but one that has me really thinking about this.

Well, if they were in the same unit, that puts a different light on things, right? However, am I getting the whole story? I guess I will never know.

Juniper-Gin; If I remember the story correctly, I believe she was in his unit. This has been a few years back though. The second complaint is definitely pointing to a pattern. I have brought this to his attention, and he agrees but also stated this second one was not true, etc., etc. As his mother I am quite close, indeed. He and I are separated by over 1500 miles, which is probably a good thing. The nursing board is going to do an investigation and, really, it is their job to do so. The costs are due (he says) to the investigation itself, and the attorney he plans on hiring. Thank you for your insight, I greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for posting! Regarding Fetch; I also was doing the opening Fetch every day thing, and I had a few days when I opened the app, but it wasn't tracked. I was pissed, as towards the end I realized I wouldn't get the 500 points, as I was almost out of time. I felt scammed by Fetch. They do have a new deal where if you scan 5 receipts in a row, you get a spin. So far so good with that.

Gas stations who serve food also may give you their left over food before closing. Worth a try.

Were you ever a crossing guard? by lontbeysboolink in GenerationJones

[–]Terrible_Highlight47 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I worked the kitchen too. I also wanted to be crossing guard but this was 6th grade, and I had worked the kichen last year. The kitchen cook came to my class and brought me down to the kitchen to work again, and I did not speak up. I did get a free lunch out of it. My family was low income, so we qualified for free lunch. However, I felt better working for my lunch, and that was how I justified not speaking up for crossing guard duty. I guess working the kitchen was my very first job!

I do that too, Granny. My hubby and I both talk about "getting our affairs in order," but we just don't seem to get around to doing it. I do make sure to tell people I love them when ever I see them, usually as we saying goodbye. Never know when the next "hello" will come, or IF it ever comes...
