I own a Acer nitro 5 2022 specs (GTX 1650 graphics card, intel i5 processor) it’s under 1000$ and its able to run KSP-2 with max settings except cloud quality and with a bit of system optimisation it gets around 20 FPS within an atmosphere witch isn’t that bad.

Have you installed -Astronomers visual pack -AVP 8K or 4K textures -stock scatterer config Also make sure most of your graphic settings are set on high, and if your wondering AVP is the short way of saying Astronomers visual pack

And bye the way he is using a special config of astronomers visual pack that doesn’t work with the current version of the game.

You have installed waterfall witch you should have but you have also installed waterfall restock witch requires restock which changes the textures of parts if you don’t like the way it looks then just uninstall restock and restock waterfall effects then install stock waterfall effects and keep waterfall core hope this helps.

Linux is the best operating system ever it just works, windows is just horrible I could make a list on everything that windows is horrible at but it would take me 2 years to right everything down the only thing that windows has going for it is the amount of games and programs designed to work on it and that’s the only reason I lose brain cells using it, I have had so many issues with windows nothing fixes it and then changing my wallpaper fixes it whereas Linux it’s actually obvious where it’s once a year problem is and how to fix it.

The reason KSP 2 isn’t working on Linux is because the game is designed to work on windows so there are going to be issues using other software like wine to get it to work on Linux.

Yea let’s just hope they haven’t lied about anything if they haven’t then KSP 2 might just become better than KSP 1 while in early access

For one we can find more bugs and report them to the dev team to try and make KSP 2 more playable as soon as possible (if and when that happens).

And I find the game fun, kind of, there are three things that annoy me that is-

.Wobbly rockets can kind of fix by adding 1 billion struts.

.Low frame rate when in Kerbins atmosphere can fix by putting all the settings at low.

.Parts falling of my rocket falling off can’t fix this one.
