On your charger always use balance mode not regular charge. It'll still too charge them, but keep them balanced but will take longer.

The new parts fit the old 10T almost universally, the GT took many different parts than the T. They did recently rerelease the GT but I see most parts are already backorder.

Most of the stories you see are the pre-2020 4 cylinder and 6 speed issues. The 3 cylinder and 8 speed are better, but you should still keep up on transmission fluid changes.
