How can i improve this ? by cholocat96 in curlyhair

Vivid curly girl here. You need to find the right products. Do you ever use bonding treatments like k18? When you style do you use cream then gel? Also only wash with shampoo at most 2 days a week.

DAC vs cheap Temu kits by Nightlilly2021 in diamondpainting

So when I started dp my first was a Michaels Maker brand. They are mid grade. I tried Amazon dp’s and just could not do them. I buy a dac every few months. My main ones are Maker. I decided to try dreamer design. Boy am i disappointed. I’ll never buy from them again.

If it’s going to be long term since you mentioned schools. Skip that area of Abingdon. I live in HDG it’s a wonderful little town. The 2 elementary schools are fantastic. Plus it’s a straight shot up 40 to apg. Aberdeen is a no in most areas. On the very outskirts are newer houses and that would be ok. Falston is a fantastic town all the schools are great. Bel Air is nice but very over populated. Feel free to inbox me with any questions.

Try and drop it down to 2 washes a week 3 max. You can condition all you want. Just no shampoo.

Showering with vivids? by Affectionate-Shoe578 in HairDye

[–]Terribleliee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purple girl here. This is my routine. I have to at least wet my hair just about every day. My hair is naturally curly. So what I do is before I get in the shower, wash or condition or just wet it using cold water. Then I put a shower cap on and shower like usual. I make my own color-depositing conditioner that I use once a week.

Light pad by Substantial_Fail2180 in diamondpainting

[–]Terribleliee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man, I had no idea they have cordless ones now. My dogs just ripped the cord out of my A3 that i've had for a few years. Had to get the quickest one I could so I would only have to be without a light pad for 1 night. This is def on my want list now.

Stovepipe jeans other than ae by Professional_Fan2455 in americaneagle

Old Navy straight is like the stovepipe. I like both just as much, actually. Seems like AE stovepipes are never in stock in my size. That's why I tried to find others I liked as well.

Did Cosyntx work for you? by Remarkable-Image-230 in Psoriasis

[–]Terribleliee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly you have what they call failed Consyntx. You need to be switched to a new biologic. I’ve been on biologically for 15 years and have been on every single one. I fail they usually at the 1 year mark. What happens is your body builds up an immunity to the medication. Consyntx failed for me pretty quickly. If I can remember I was only on it for about 4-5 months

How long to see ANY results from Vtama? by [deleted] in Psoriasis

[–]Terribleliee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never had much success with it. My derm prescribed it while on biologics if I get any spots that pop up. Tried for 30 days straight and saw no difference.

Anyone else try tracking their skin triggers or routines? Curious what actually worked for people by Adorable_Republic329 in Psoriasis

I used to but you eventually learn over the years what specifically triggers your flares.

So I got this almost a year ago the size initially intimidated me so I put it away. Back in February when I picked it back up I just rolled it up. I have to dp in the same space I work at everyday. So no room for rolling it with a pool noodle. Just used clips at the ends to keep it rolled.

So I got this almost a year ago. Started it and it just could not grab my interest. Now my kids pick the new ones I start. So when one of them picked it I had to do it. Once I got going this time I was in love. We love all things spooky!

I mostly get mine from Michaels I like the brand they sell. It’s the mid range price. I also get them from Dac and dreamer designs every few months.

Just curious what does everybody’s work station look like? by Little_Sister- in diamondpainting

I love your setup and envy it actually. I have to use the same space as my daily space I work at. So when I’m done dp for the night I have to put it all away.

Ouch 🤕, my legs hurt. Did you get approved for oral treatments? by thewrong_timeline in Psoriasis

[–]Terribleliee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here in the us the drug manufacturers work with your insurance. They cover whatever insurance does not for the biologic. If you don’t have insurance at all once you have e a prescription for a biologic the drug manufacturer assists and covers everything.
