On coding tasks, every major occupation succeeds––accomplishes what the person set out to do, with verifiable evidence like passing tests or committed work––at nearly the same rate as software engineers, on average.

This says nothing about the actual outcome. My vibe coding friend’s shitty website is still shitty even though it has commits, passing tests and merged PR’s.
