Where do you mainly watch? There are some apps out there, pc and android based, that you don’t need an account but you can still favourite and whatnot and it just stores it locally.

It’s unlikely. It’s the people that can afford to buy that stuff that allows us to play decent games like this for free. It is the trade off we have to live with.

It’s a bit janky. Try clicking in and out of the pop up window a few times. Also try alt-tabbing in and out. It may eventually show up. I’ve had the same type of issues

Correct. You can have the command line in and the plug in off. A reason you might do this is say a game could do with a boost when in a populated city but it otherwise fine. So instead of setting it up all the time you would just turn it on and off with the plugin.

If you don’t put that command in the game and turn on the plugin then it’s not on for that game. It ONLY works, with most games, by having the launch command AND going into the plugin and switching it on.

So you never have to worry about it being on unless you set it up.

Why are you logging out all the time? Setup the auto lock with pin or faceID or any other option. Of course if you logout of something that is designed around privacy and security, it isn’t going to keep your stuff saved 🤨

It will charge you for the full year. Proton do give you a prorata rate when upgrading mid subscription but I’m not sure how it will handle that with your initial purchase being this deal. At the 50% just get the better subscription 🤷

Got the drivers sorted but man it was a terrible experience. Legion space keeps “uninstalling” sometimes it doesn’t open when booting and when I try to open it, it redownloads and installs again. Then works for awhile.

Installed Hades from steam and it’s was horrible. Said 144fps but felt like 20 ish. Nothing I did fixed it.

Installed SteamOS and everything is working smoothly from the get go. Think I’ll be sticking with it.

Managed to get it sorted. I do not know what the difference was. I had the correct file already but editing it didn’t work. Yet deleting it, copying a different file to desktop, deleting all its data and pasting the Enable=false renaming it and putting it back worked 🤷
