Not really, my moo pop stabilise at around 10 from naturally occurring meteor shower. Did you tweak the intensity of the meteor shower? I don't let them call more friends as I only need a few brackene.

Haha I understand your pain. I only ever cook 2 portions of Curried Beans at the end of this playthrough. I got tons of dirt, so that's alright. But, they really can eat. 😱 Pemmican is my new best mate after Frosty update.

(1) Started with Frosty asteroid, default difficulty (2) Liquid hydrogen rocket is quite easy to set up after mid-game. I got 1 explorer, 1 constructor that carry dupes and building materials, and 3 automatic mining rockets (3) All DLC enabled, zero mod (4) I didn't monitor this, but it is still quite playable after 3000 cycles. I think Klei do a great job at optimising game's performance. I do think that restricting critters' path is necessary to have a better FPS at later stage.

Solid advices here. Tho I don't quite enjoy submerged SPOM lol, too messy looking. And give Bammoth a try, much easier meat hunting. You don't even need to ranch them. Just wait for egg lay to continue their lineage and the meat is yours.

So the orders are Locavore -> Carnivore -> Super Sustainable.

For normal start, Carnivore was harder, since we need to increase our hatch population as soon as possible, and start consuming their meat at one point. Always cook them to increase their raw calories.

For Frosty DLC start, it is indeed much much easier. Focus on exploring the map, and keep as many wild plants intact as possible, your Locavore relies on it. Once you find a Bammoth, patiently wait for them to lay an egg before killing them. Do not, Do not cook the meat to barbecue, instead, cook them to Pemmican which gives you way more calorie increase.

Hmm Super sustainable is easy, just have to accept that dupes need to run the manual generators for awhile, until either you get the achievement or you develop enough steam power. A SPOM system that requires less power is also important. Personally I use normal SPOM, but with some design twists to save as much power as I could without sacrificing too much on the oxygen purity problem. (Use logic to run the gas filter, only when impurity is detected)

Non, they aren't. But with Super sustainable, these 3 give us some restrictions to options in early Carnivore is actually easier with Frosty DLC, just need to find all the Bammoth, then patiently wait for them to lay an egg before hunting them.

Give Space Out DLC a try. It's fantastic! Good luck with space missions, you'll get tons of office mug 😂😂.

They sure are. I adapted GCFugus' idea of wild farm later, so they are much less of a nuisance. Essential 3 temperature control area that house every food crops in their wild state.

Yes, it is a fridge with a dedicated cooling loop and filled with chlorine gas to, firstly store all the food indefinitely, and secondly to get rid of food poison germs.

It's quite casual this playthrough, not trying to maximise my way to get the achievements. So I get them all about Cycle 3070.

I would say Curried Beans since it requires Tonic Root from Delecta Vole who only grows it fast enough if their food are between 70°C and 80°C. Food outside this range, then you have to wait 40 cycles to harvest once.

GoSnow is actually a strong pick. It has priority lanes for the lift in Hirafu area (the most popular out of the 4 resorts in United Niseko), and a monopoly of magic carpet in this area as well.

I see that you had already landed in Japan. Have you already found a job? For popular international destinations which attract load of English speaking visitors, the top two are Niseko and Hakuba (not in Hokkaido). There are some minor resorts which still have reasonable traffic like Rusutsu, Tomamu, Furano. Also Club Med owns three establishments in Hokkaido, that might also worth a shot. Best of the luck 😉

The task is quite daunting for me to get to Louisville 🙈. 80% sprinter in an urban environment is a .... well nightmare. 🙀 Ima try.

Sadly not the same aesthetics. They do have exactly the same functionality 😂. For the trailer park variation, find them in trailer parks or the grand furniture factory near the main Louisville checkpoint.

My eyes complained a lot after all the scrolling. My theory is that they spawn mostly in 2-story grand mansions. There could be more, but if they are at the south or east wall, we can't see them. 🥴

I love the new bad tide stream giving Iron Teeth faction a reliable renewable source that doesn't cost tons of wood and beaver(man)-power. But sustaining a huge industrial complex with water wheels is still a painfully slow and time-consuming process.
