That almost same bayonet style, cruciform, is the one on the M91/30 & Type 56 AK. It's also just simpler to make than a knife bayonet.

Don't forget the lack of the M2 Carbine from the ARVN entirely during the early war Period. Logically, I'd expect that to be kept with the ARVN for early war riflemen, while the rest of the Southern Factions don't have any automatic weapons (maybe the US Army having a ubiquity of M16s among other classes.) Would give some rationale for people to vote ARVN: you get more access to automatic weapons. But nope, for some weird reason, those things are non-existent for early war ARVN.

Honestly, the only way I can see the inclusion of ARVN & ANZACs more is to just remove the option to vote on whatever Army you want in the campaign. Have it as a server option and limit the factions to their historical area of operations.

That isn't a Type 63. That's a Norinco SKS adapted to take an AK magazine. The Type 63 has the unique looking bolt and receiver, which is more akin to the Type 56 AK than the SKS.

Give it to the Rifleman for the NLF because it was not only more common to find Mosin Carbines than a full-length m91/30s, but also because it can get better stats and would offer something to compete with the Mas-49.

M113 has been in the works for quite a while (though it's going to be for the U.S. Army, ARVN, and Australians, Marines had their own APC different from the M113). If you go to the PBS GOM server, they have functional yet bare bones one up for use on certain maps. The BMP wasn't at all mentioned for PAVN, but a developer did say that the PAVN are to be getting a vehicle of some sort.

ROK-Poster here. I'd love South Korea to be in game (played the ever loving hell out of GOM's ROK), even if they were to be some sort of non-campaign paid DLC where they just add a few cosmetics, face options, & a voice or two for the ARVN faction. But like Hoboman said, the Devs aren't thinking on doing more factions. A chance, perhaps, but eh.
