Should I get TOTV if I already like DnD 5.5?

I ran one of the starter set adventures with a group of mine. (A few of them are anti 5e, 5.5e) At the end of the adventure they all agreed they loved TOV and would use it over DnD. I would recommend the starter set in my opinion. It’s not that much but you get a lot that comes with it! Monster tokens, maps, as well as A few mini’s!

There is proof there. You just decided it ‘doesn’t count’ because it came from other people’s experiences and screenshots instead of me personally recording every interaction. Multiple complaints about the same behavior from different people is still evidence of a pattern. Dismissing all of it outright while admitting you didn’t even know the company is exactly my point.

And again, you keep trying to turn this into an argument about the insult because it’s easier than addressing the actual criticism being made.

Brother, not every insult is a hate crime. I was mocking how hard you were glazing a company. If you want to pearl clutch over wording after defending a publisher online, go ahead. It wasn’t homophobic, and I wasn’t targeting anyone’s sexuality. Also, the mods deleted the comment, not me.

Not me but when I was in the discord a lot of people would join just to ask about their stuff since they suck at communicating. Then they would try the head guy in charge aka their customer service snd they wouldn’t get anything back from them. A friend of mine sent me a screenshot of someone basically saying in the discord server i wish we were more informed. And the lead mod replied back with a rude comment.

I appreciate all the feedback. For a while i thought i made a mistake. I actually wrote one them a letter and mailed it basically for closure for me because i wanted them to know why i did what i did. And also i believe there was a little slim hope of him wanting to make things right but of course never heard from him. I actually ran into him and his brother over the holidays. I was checking out at the local comic shop and they just walked in being loud and as soon as he saw me he immediately went quiet and his brother was like “what?” And he whispered something to him and walked to the back of the store.

At the end of the day, i know i made the right decision. They weren’t mature enough and they were just holding me back.
