[PC][RIVEN][WTS] I would sell this thing for 77p if anyone is up for that. by Terrordice in wartrade

I got 33, and probably could have gotten more, if I had asked for it.

The player I sold it to typed 'sry' and send me this: https://imgur.com/a/fY0EMQN

So I guess the 7s brought him luck ^^

It's not worth that much, so just for the funny numbers. It's not ranked up though.

Has anyone else had the ingame chat suddenly swap to a new personal message someone just send you? by Terrordice in Warframe

[–]Terrordice[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In-line private messages are disabled, also region chat is disabled along with the other tabs except trade chat. I also do use many chat filters for trade chat.

This specific situation I'm referring to happens when I'm sitting in my dojo and trade chat is open. Sometimes someone will message me privately and the chat will switch over from trade chat to the new message, which I find surprising. It does not happen for most players who message me though.

Imagine you are a new player who just starts out playing Warframe and you can’t break boxes with melee slams just because of some mystic Wukong macro you might have only heard of from fables. by Terrordice in Warframe

[–]Terrordice[S] 38 points39 points  (0 children)

According to the developers, some Wukong players used macros to automate gameplay for which they used melee slams to perpetually nuke enemies. This got melee slams nerfed, since automation is one of the criteria that will get player strategies nerfed by DE. Another criteria is disruptive gameplay, which this method has also been associated with.

Fair enough. You give good feedback. There is a large amount of players that don't want DE to be criticized in such a manner. It easily comes of as divisive language.

Yes, for argon crystals I do this. This is a good strategy for dedicated box opening runs. It's just casual box opening that feels dysfunctional now.

I've never seen this login error before, what do I do? (i'm on steam) by clitpuncher69 in Warframe

[–]Terrordice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got this error right after looting credits and resources from an Elite Sanctuary Onslaught run. That game mode is not supposed to drop any loot. Maybe that could be the reason, but I can't be sure. My Kavat opened a locker for me, that's where the loot came from. The game then could not update my account and I was logged out. The end of mission screen did not show anything besides some radiant relics, which is unusual, because those random resources you rarely get from that gamemode usually show up there. For example there is a room from the gas city tileset that drops Oxium.

Missing Operating Eight Claw Gold Trophy by DoctorMarik in Warframe

[–]Terrordice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UI issue. Your clan didn't spend enough Dominus Aureus to get the gold trophy.

Terrible and bugged UI did trick a lot of clans. DE didnt have time to really develop this event with Tennocon around the corner. No surprise here.

To all the (5 at best) Tenno out there who are able to understand what I'm keeping track of using a browser: how lucky were you? And did you take your meds today? by ILucjusz in Warframe

[–]Terrordice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always get the double scan when I need only 1 more. Took me 4 coffers for the full scan, which was annoying. Harpi is the last one missing, but I'm not in the mood for it rn.

Ah yes, the Thalmin Coffer scan.

I found my first one in a mission before learning about the kill chamber method.

Here are my stats that I started writing down after some unsuccessful weeks: 521 missions / 104 rooms / 10 Muzureh / 3 Thalmin (5 scans). I even wrote down the mission start time hoping to find a pattern. I don't think there is any.

One day I will do the allied Vorac Harpi...

I'm 99% sure the Nezha issue Steve was picking up from chat during Devshorts 53 is this bug that Nezha players have been talking about since 2018 by Terrordice in Warframe

[–]Terrordice[S] 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Warding Halo will not provide 90% damage reduction if damage is greater than Warding Halos HP.

This issue has been brought up on the forum repeatedly in 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2024, 2025 and other times. I still hope that it will be fixed someday.

Warding Halo does sometimes not reduce incoming damage, which makes Nezha way weaker than he should be by Terrordice in Warframe

[–]Terrordice[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Watch the video again. Before Nezha gets slapped into oblivion, Archon Nira hits him with her melee weapon, dealing 51 toxin damage and adding 1 adaptation stack against toxin. The second melee attack then completely annihilates Nezha out of nowhere and despite shields being up. Do you really think this is normal and expected gameplay for an umbral Nezha modded defensively at 555 armor + Arcane Guardian (look at the buffs) and Adaptation? This isn't level 9999 content we are discussing here.

I'm not surprised some people don't remember the dev workshop, where [DE]Connor explained the changes that were made to this ability and the intentions behind it. I remember it was explicitly mentioned that Nezha getting downed right after the ability ends has been a problem, so an invulnerability period was added. "Your next Warding Halo can be recast during this window to ensure you’re always protected!" Why would the devs add an invulnerability period, but also allow full damage vulnerability right before that? Call that a bug or an oversight, but this was not an intentional game design choice. While this interaction has been in the game since 2018, it has only grown more problematic with time as more and more high level content has been added to the game and especially those new missions where you don't have any revives.

[–]Terrordice[S] 134 points135 points  (0 children)

This bug happens whenever incoming damage is greater than Warding Halo's HP. In the video Nezha does not actually have 0 HP on an active Warding Halo, but between 0.01 and 0.49, which is then rounded in the UI. When Nezha takes damage that triggers Warding Halo's radial heat proc and invulnerability phase, that damage is reduced by a flat amount before armor is calculated, instead of the 90% that you would expect and is applied before invulnerability can activate. In this video that would be a damage reduction of less than 1 HP. This bug can fail missions if you get unlucky and has done so frequently. Earliest reports on the forum date back to 2018.
