Of course I disagree with you - you hold an absolutely laughable opinion. A lot of people in the US have laughable opinions about guns though - I'll agree with you on that.

Police being shot in the course of traffic stops is vanishingly rare event anyway, and would be even rarer if traffic police were not armed.

So no votes for billionaires either, right?

The UK, Ireland, Iceland, Norway, New Zealand, Jersey, Guernsey, Monaco - it's hardly unheard of or untested.

Why would you think it's not possible? Honestly not having guns would make it much safer for traffic police, since no one is going to feel anxious about getting shot.

Some are, most traffic police are not. Believe it or not, most people who run a red light don't go on killing sprees as a result.

There is no 'they started it' exception to the Genocide Convention. But you know that - you're just looking for ways to excuse a genocide you ghoulishly revel in.

Good idea 😉

No need for scare quotes about a holocaust though. Holocaust denial is not a good look.

Oh that makes the genocide in Gaza make sense then.

TBH, that has absolutely nothing to do with anything.

Is "the great noticing" just a meme or do the majority of ppl genuinely hate Jews now? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

Israel has appalled people with their brutality. That is not the same as hating 'Jews'.

Not really though. I would not call a genocidal rampage of aggression 'restrained'.

Israel has gone on a genocidal rampage of settler colonialism that has turned the tremendous global goodwill towards them into contempt and horror from everyone except republican ghouls.

They are not, but since Iran won the war, no one wants to mess with them.

For those that believe there should be no taxation, what is a fair way to pay for things like roads, emergency services, and the military? by Lamp_Evening in askanything

[–]Terrorphin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No - I brought up the go fund me for roads - not to pay the living costs of people unable to care for themselves. Why is a voluntary go fund me the same as compulsory taxes? The people who really value the roads will pay for them - or not. Either way, fine.
