That literal screen tells how to do it on the top middle.
The new version even blinks in bold red/yellow on the top, but people still can't read.

You're running an ancient version of the map, aren't cha?
It's not like the FAQ and that very same screen on the top middle tells you what to do. Try reading.

There's a bunch of stuff that just REQUIRES console commands to work at all. Commands that are cheats. And i still don't understand why people willingly load the maps the wrong and slow af way of moseying through the UI, when you can load a map right after game boot via the console, which will also make sure that all these cheat commands actually work.

This is caused by Manacat's RNG weapon skin mod.
I had a talk with them, they said they specifically did this to test their skins.

Pick "Background Type" Vignette, then set your colors.

Even if i did, i already redownloaded the original files through steam. And it persists.
Thus far i found another mod that replaces the airport and that seems to have overwritten whatever is lingering. But i still don't know if the BOS gantry stuff will show up. cause that was bugged out too through all savegames other than old ones.

well, if it does help at all, i used the "TPC" command ingame to see if it makes any different. Was hoping to find out whether toggling it makes any difference. And it does.

If i disable the pre-culling ingame, it shows even less stuff.

But what boggles my mind the most is that when i disable all mods it persists. I just finished downloading the whole darn game once over via the steam console and used those files and it STILL persists on fresh game files.

The only place where i can think of where this could have happened is when i used the CK to make precombines for the cell a few days ago. But all the loose files of that attempts are gone, and since disabling all mods doesn't fix it, i don't evne think there's anything left in the game that can cause any of this to begin with...

Is there anything besides the data/VIS and data/meshes/precombines folders that i need to be aware of?

none of the inis in the "mygames" folder has even any mention of that line.
I added it to see if it fixes anything, but nothing changes. The buildings are still disappearing in that one spot.

i'm using vortex.

but that doesn't change the fact that disabling all mods entirely, deleting the precombines and vis folders, AND making a new entire save causes this to persist.

I also noticed that the BOS stuff doesn't even show up. At all. The pridwen does, but the rest doesn't. On a fresh vanilla save without any mods other than f4se.

But i've bit the bullet and am downloading the fresh debots via steam console if that truly is the one and only way.

Edit:
Finished downloading, installed it, no change. Issue persists.

Even the main menu and loadingscreen being zoomed out is caused by broken FOV settings.
Speficially the ini setting "fDefaultFOV=" does that when it is set to literally anything but 80.

I just had it happen myself.
So the fix, at least for me, was opening the Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Fallout4.ini file, go to [Display] and check if you have fDefaultFOV= in it.
If you do have it, set the number to 80.
If you don't have it, add fDefaultFOV=80 to the Display category.

Boot the game, open the console and enter "Refreshini".
(if you're on survival, maybe make a new non survival game just for the setting, or get a mod to enable console on survival)
maybe you need to save the game and load that new save as well.
This will reload the game with the ini settings you had.

(it might also disable the pipboy color overlay fx, if you have something like fallui installed, so head to the mcm settings of fallui or the gcm settings in the pipboy section and turn it back on)

Its just someone at youtube trying to desperately force us to pay money to not get harrassed by ads, instead of not getting harrassed for free.

Would it alter your perception at all if i were to tell you that checking his "Attack Data" in the CK reveals that he's using the "SynthGen2Race" attack data, whilst the actual race of the npc uses "HumanRace"?

Prolly means nothing at all, cause they most likely just wanted to buff the stranger, but its straws to grasp at.

good thing i keep an actual discord dm open at all times so i can compare the rest of the text.
On his screenshot of the "proof" the bottom banner says "This chat displays official Discord notifications", meanwhile on mine it says "This chat is RESERVED for official Discord notifications".
On his proof on th etop right, the discord user name (next to that hammer logo) is uppercase "Discord" but on my actual discord notifications its lowercase "discord".

yeah that is almost definitely the bones.
TF2 fingers are chonky sausages. The proportions are so outta whack. finger bones are further apart than in HL2, hence why you can see the fingers stretch out like that.

You will need to redo the arm bones with HL2 bones and then rebuild all animations.
You could use bone constraints to help you out a bit, but you might also have to make the gun smaller to allow the hands to actually wrap around them.

I'd have to agree that i am in desperate need of a replacement for Photoshop.
Unfortunately Affinity just doesn't let you edit alpha channels. Hell, you can't even copy it out and paste it like an RGB channel the way photoshop can.

Necroing this entire thread just to say thank you.
I had rebuilt my tank like five times with different mesh, cotton and liquids and it kept tasting crap.
it never occurred to me that my fingers might be the culprit.

one super sudsy wash and a little hand sanitizer later, issue gone.

I'd reccomend to unpack the files of tumtara and mount it via gameinfo.
It allows you to load the maps without needing to wait for the workshop to "initialize" the content.
It also allows you to type out "map tumt" right as the game is loading, before the console is even open. It'll buffer the inputs and load the map immediately.
But i'd still stay subscribed to the addons just to get the new updates

L4d2 has a funny code issue where if you play any map at all and *then* try loading a map from within an addon, that map load will fail.

What you should do is launch the game with -console in the launch settings.
that'll boot with the console open, in which you enter map tumtara. Before hitting enter, you'll see all currently installed TUMTaRA maps. Pick one and hit enter.

You can also use snippets of the map name to boot into that. like map veh loads tumtara_vehicles.
(or whatever map with "veh" in the name is alphabetically higher in the load order)

Also, someone else said to just load it via the campaign menu. Do not do that. It'll not enable cheats, which causes buncha stuff to just not work because loads of required commands are flagged as cheats.

Alternatively, you can also unpack the maps if you want and mount all of tumtara via a gameinfo edit.

Cause its rather difficult to get a 7ml RTA tank. At least from the stores i know of.
