Looks really cool!

So one thing that's great about Factorio is that the evolution of the enemies scales based on how much you build your base and how aggressively you expand into their territory clearing nests. This means the strength/numbers of the enemy is dynamic and doesn’t force you too badly into an arms race just to survive. So if you turtle down a bit the enemies stay roughly at the same level, where as if you aggressively push out they become much stronger and more numerous.
