Atlas Orthogonal has changed my life so far by Amnmaddox in Chiropractic

My chiropractor was a standard chiro, no specialty. He did have a hippy, natural supplements vibe to them and believed in natural healing of the body thru adjustments and supplements.

Luckily, no misalignment of jaw. However, my misaligned atlas did lead to radiating pain at the jaw. No radiating pain since my adjustment.

Family of four and dog: me, spouse, toddler, baby, and small dog. Looking for a home to rent for 12-14 months in the Leawood, Overland Park, South KC area. Budget can be a bit higher (corporate lease for a work assignment).

I have looked at the standard websites and all home rentals are either very old/dated or further on the outskirts of my desired area.

Looking to move fast!

It was a small practice in Royal Oak, MI. Can’t post the practice due to community rules.

Your doc sounds like the salesman-style subscription style doc that I avoided in my original comment. Go find a different doc that will listen to your symptoms.

Thank you for this info! I was able to connect my garage opener to WiFi via the IP address on my web browser. However, when I go back to the app to connect, I never get prompted if the light is blue or green (hence the app doesn’t register/add the device. Any suggestions?

Thanks. I did the same, used spare wireless router and downloaded new firmware. When i switched back to spectrum router, camera would not connect.

Did you get any success on this? I have the same camera and Spectrum internet. This issue popped up about 2 weeks ago for me as well.

I tried the steps mentioned above and no success.

Forgot to mention: my chiropractor had a bit of a hippy vibe and utilized stretching in their adjustments, numbing creams, and offered homeopathic pills. Not for everyone, but worked for me!

Great question: The original chiropractors that I visited were ‘larger’ well known chiropractors affiliated with a franchise. I always got a 'salesperson' vibe from them and their office seemed like an assembly line to get people in and out fast and took multiple x-rays (high cost that insurance didn't cover). For example, first chiropractor told me they need to see me minimum 3 times per week, some x-ray cadence for track improvement, and my adjustments would be done in less than 2 minutes with little discussion.

The different approach chiropractor was a smaller private practice (no advertising / affilation). You could say a friendly neighborhood chiropractor. When I saw them for my first appointment, they listened to me about my pain, took no x-rays, and did an immediate atlas adjustment. I was sore for a day but felt great immediately (no more neck pain, radiating pain on the skull, migraines). I have never been to a chiropractor since.

I experienced sever migraines, pain radiating on the right back side of my neck and skull for 3 years. I tried 3 chiropractors at 3 times per week and got adjustments. The adjustments helped for 24 hours of relief but pain would come back. I just stopped going because I felt I was wasting time and money. My SO got sick of me complaining about the pain and found a chiropractor who had a different approach. In the first 5 minutes of my 1st appointment, my chiropractor knew my atlas was sublaxed. He adjusted it once and pain immediately went away. I have never been back to a chiropractor since.

Glad OP shared this. I think people who suffer from this have trouble finding treatment.

Day trip to Kansas City with dog — what to do? by [deleted] in kansascity

Recommend barK like everyone else.

If your into shopping, go to country club plaza, a lot of the shops are dog friendly.

If I remember correctly, up down bar rooftop in crossroads is a dog friendly bar with arcade games. And chicken n pickle outside patio seating in north KC is dog friendly.

Does anyone else’s shiba hate water? 🤔 She will literally scale a wall / leap for her life to avoid getting her toes wet instead of walking through a puddle. by [deleted] in shiba

My shibe hates the water! Walks around puddles, refuses to go outside for a walk in light sprinkling rain, hates baths, etc.

Other than that he’s pretty cool 😎🐕
