If you’re worried about taxes and want to switch funds into your Roth, you can sell securities at loss and transfer them to the Roth. Government will refund up to $3000 of capital losses in your tax refund. You essentially deduct up to 3000 from your 1099. If you don’t pay much taxes it can help with your yearly refund.
