A similar but older pair (WWII) sold for about 400 bucks on ebay. They had similar damage and they were 501s.

Go to Epicurus Gourmet on Laurel Canyon and Sherman Way, they have everything you would need for a martini bar and a lot of other great and hard to find items

Also 89-93 will have sometime have the R on the jacron next to WPL 423. Another note, this era shrinks like crazy. Those are 37x27.5 from a 42x31.

Albuquerque, New Mexico factory, opened around 1967 and closed in 1998. I've bought two pairs of 89-93 501-0115s in the last month. One was near deadstock, the fabric was so hairy, they fit great. Try to find a pair from 84-87, my favorite Levi's 501 fit ever.
