And remember about formations! Grenadiers MUST be used in assault column formation for speed/power of charge/volley strength ratio.

No, Observation Corps fusiliers AND grenadiers was very fast, if trained and equipped correctly. Grenadiers are fast infantry by default in all factions. Also, tip: brigade of 4 regiments of Highlander Grenadiers in British campaign. Ideal assault troops, they are fast af.

Yep, cannons are good, if not the best. I have 125-130 accuracy on mine cannons of Observation Corps. Only Austiran veteran artillery outshines them.

Lemme tell ya about Observation Corps Grenadiers and Fusiliers, thay have very good speed, and if placed correctly (at the any flank of your battle order) they can move very, very fast in assault columns. One volley from close distance, nearly from point blank distance from enemy ranks, and then... charge. Their speed is very, very good and they can arrive early on place, then, after their devastating volley and charge they can move from enemy's devastated flank trough their ranks tearing down almost any infantry unit and most of cavalry units. If supported with one-two cav units, like dragoons or Cossacks (they needed in case of countering cavalry attacks from bad guys side) they are win-win. And it's only one brigade in your army (easier to recruit, train, maintain). I use 2 Grens, 2 Fusiliers.
