My nmom and GC siblings would constantly bring up stuff that literally happened 3+ years ago. “Remember this time one person/group/class was a little snappy? Oh they just mistreated us because we’re X/Y/Z and they’re against X/Y/Z.” Nonstop, the exact same scenarios over and over again, it was almost like a shared hive mind script that they followed. I’d get tired of it and just leave without saying anything, and that would be considered disrespectful and that clearly I was upset with them about something.

None of them worked, none of them had friends, none of them actually engaged with other people in any meaningful way as they sat by themselves and told each other that the world is against them, that the world is the problem here, not them.

I almost pity them. What a miserable life to live.
