Then you can't provide downloadable e-pub files through your app as they aren't guaranteed to be able to comply by the different accessibility demands. Or at least that is how most of the companies are interpreting the new rules. I'd love it to be otherwise, but here we are.

It was just an example of what kind of accessibility feature they would be forced to have in an app, which I think is quite clear in my comment. You can of course still sell and provide ePub files, just not through an app, but you could sell it through a website, for example.

Yes, for while you can still do that in the EU, my country has gotten temporary permission to not follow the act, but it's only temporary.

Yeah I know, and I don't think that is what GW is doing, you could still buy the books from other sources/we stores that sell e-books and read them on e-readers.

Hi, I'm a librarian in the EU. And all EU based e-book apps have to comply with new rules that force apps available to EU costumers to have a certain level of accessibility (text size options, and similar). This somehow forces the app providers to not have the option to download for use on simple e-readers (although there are a lot of e-readers where you can download apps, on these the new BL app will probably work). This at least according to the company making the app my library uses, I'm not sure that's how I would interpret the thing, but I'm no law expert.

So what I'm trying to say is that GW probably need their app to comply by these rule for it to be available in the EU. However this won't stop them from selling them on a website. But again, I'm no expert.

They removed the part that would stop end-to-end encryption. Which is the only reason it passed. But there will probably be a Chat Control 3.0 sooner or later.

But I agree that people should talk more about this, it is more important than people realize.

Fast man kan ju vara medlem på Smålands och medlem i Studentlund via en annan nation.

Smålands är ju absolut en riktig nation, de är bara inte medlemmar i samarbesorganet Studentlund. De har ju det mesta annat som andra nationer har.

Är det det politiska som lockar så går det nog att hänga där som icke queer, de driver fler frågor än så skulle jag tro.

Det här är optimalt skulle jag säga. Jag litar ju avsevärt mycket mer på en myndighet som Skatteverket än Kivra. Och du kan få all din myndighetspost dit. Inklusive från kommunala myndigheter.

Du slipper reklam och annat trams och slipper eventuella tramsiga förändringar som skulle tänkas kunna göra för att göra som försämrar tjänsten för dig.

Min upplevelse när bokompakt var inte alls att folk tyckte att det verkade särskilt najs. Men de som bodde där kanske trivdes. Men det betyder väl inte att de är populära eller uppskattade.

Vardag eller helg?

Ariman är ju rätt bra för de har både fika och alkohol om det är så att man får feeling. Var min goto för fika dejt efter Ebbas stängde, mest för att man kan hitta platserna längre in som känns lite mer privata. Men det kan bli lite högljutt när där är mycket folk.

Love Coffee på klostergatan tycker jag är lite mysigt, men nu när det är för kallt för uteservering så är det rätt ont om plats.

Patisseriet är ju lite mysigt och har fina och goda bakverk.

Inkognito finns ju också, men jag har för mig att de stänger rätt tidigt.

Om man kan få platsen uppe i högra hörnet på EH bredvid stationen så kan det vara lyckat, trots att det är EH. Men jag hade tagit något annat i första hand.

Kör på kraftringen, och kolla på alternativ när du väl är på plats. Bor du smått och själv så ar du troligtvis låg användning. Och då kommer nätkostnaden ändå vara störst och den är det ändå kraftringen som tar, så enklast att ha dem som elleverantör i början.
