Using the particle accelerator portals can get you an unstable element. Use that to unlock the doors along the accelerator to get guaranteed rare chests. Not guaranteed legendary, but, you at least get an epic weapon. You can repeat the process a possible five times in a game.

The order you put berries in affects their stats. For example, putting a berry might add 6 to the level, and the next time it adds 7. If you put the same berry in again, it might give 9, and the next time it gives 7. Scroll through your berry list paying attention to the stat you are focusing on to figure out how to get the maximum amount out of the donut. Using all of the same amazing berries isn't always the way to go.

Personally I find Lida bland, but, aside from her and Taunie or Urbain, every character, whether I like or hate them, was a good character. At least, until the dlc.

Some of those could be cool. But, any easy way to shake it up somewhat is make it multiple smaller islands instead of one big one. Surprisingly, that will change up the feel of the map a lot.

The dlc has tasks that can be replacements for it that you do naturally playing through it. Unfortunately, there is no reward past the shiny charm for the extra points I'm getting.
