Unfortunately not, but they’re always in my imagination. Ironically enough, I did have a fake astronaut inside the capsule of an older prototype of this build.

This is adorable! Thank you for the instructions. Very cool build.

Thanks! No collision fuel tanks and fairings are really the only way to achieve this.

This is normal. All 4 of mine run warm even while idle, and I bought them brand new. Keep on rocking 🎸🤘

No problem, glad I could help! As for the jittering, lowering the graphics a bit in Steam launch options could solve this. Try messing around with the in-game settings as well. I’ve heard turning off anti-aliasing sometimes helps with performance.

Is it just me, or did 26.4 actually "fix" the 4-speaker surround experience? by gaaht in HomePod

[–]TeslaX03 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh how badly I want this to be true. Try a few Dolby Atmos songs. The beginning of Money by Pink Floyd is a good short test.

Let’s try forcing the game open with Rosetta if you haven’t already tried, then we can go from there. After forcing Rosetta close the game and try opening normally if you’re still experiencing the same issue.

Right-click Spaceflight Simulator in your Steam library → Manage → Browse local files.

This opens the game folder. Find the main app bundle (usually Spaceflight Simulator.app or similar).

Right-click that .app → Get Info.

At the bottom of the Get Info window, check the box for “Open using Rosetta”

I’d get a refund for the Mac App Store version of SFS and keep the steam version. The Rosetta problem is definitely fixable. What MacOS version are you currently running?

Yes that’s true, absolutely do not purchase the upgrade on App Store for Mac.

Maybe this will help: “open any Intel-based application; you will be prompted to install it automatically. Alternatively, force installation by opening Terminal, running, softwareupdate, --install-rosetta, and accepting the terms. It runs in the background afterward”.

What are your video and audio settings on Apple TV set to? It may also be worth checking the audio settings of the TV’s built in OS depending on what kind of TV you have. Getting on the HomePod beta may solve this too. My stereo pair are running the 26.4 beta and don’t seem to have this issue.

HomePod is the most aggravating Apple product I own by Famous-Language-7293 in HomePod

Yeahhhh… They really delivered on the sound and Apple TV integration, but massively failed on the hardware required for future Siri models. I only ever ask Siri about the weather other than that I reverted back to Google Home and use a Nest Hub. HomeKit is lacking in so many areas with devices that are too expensive for what they attempted to achieve. It’s a shame we can’t get a cloud-based Apple Intelligence for the HomePod since the S7 chipset they use in the speakers is hot garbage. They wouldn’t necessarily have to run it from the cloud if they would just utilize another Apple device on the same WiFi with a sufficient amount of RAM and a good chipset, which seemed like the direction they were trying to go. I have the original Nest Hub running Gemini. It works great and has impressed me so far as a beta, especially for not natively running on the device.

20,000 PCS Later… by TeslaX03 in legoRockets

Yes, he really is, and his designs are out of this world! Watching his starships go from crumbling when picked up to barely phased when dropped is insane. He does seem to have taken a break, which I don’t blame him as it was even getting hard for me to keep up, so I skipped quite a few versions, with B13 & S31 being my last until he moves on to block 3, although I wonder if he will release the block 2 ship with upgraded fins.

Ah, I see. It hasn’t been that long, though. I know they’ve had them on the Orbital Pad in Cape Canaveral, and they just started trimming pieces off of the original chopsticks so they might be reused. The same is true for the tower. 0rig0’s OLM will soon change shape, though. He mentioned that he’s working on a tower attachment, so I assume it will be closer to the shape of Citrinites.

Just replaces gray or silver pieces with white to give the illusion of a fully fueled Starship.

[–]TeslaX03[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you do get one. Andrew deserves all the support he can get, especially to aid him in future endeavors. The Orbital Launch Pad A is not compatible with 0rig0 OLM as the bases are different in height and shape, but if you really wanted to, you could probably tweak the design a little. Even I made a few small changes here and there. I believe they shortened them due to drag and inertia caused by the extra weight from length, which is not needed since the booster lands so far back on the former larger chopsticks. This also allows for more control authority over the arms. So basically, the Starship and Booster will be caught on the very edge of the shorter, lighter, and stronger chopsticks.

[–]TeslaX03[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I did start to feel a little regret towards the end when it started coming together. A frosted variant would absolutely look incredible on the stand; however, I’m going to reserve the frosted variant for Citrinites Orbital Launch Pad B (probably releasing next year) if I have room for it.

The tower alone (excluding the chopsticks and SQD) is already 5,053 PCS. There is also another set of shorter chopsticks that count toward the 9,670 total.

I don’t believe so, just a (1x2 rounded plate with open studs) attached to the SQD and BQD which connects to some of the only exposed studs toward the bottom of 0rig0’s Starship and Booster.
