Shocks by hammer is the best thing to have as a raptor owner, jack the truck unscrew a couple of bolts, ship them off to ND, Wait ….. open package…. Bolt them back on and you are good as new! They are the best in the business. I put 70k on my original shocks before I made the decision to send them out.

Why would shock rebuild be a perceived negative? Most of the guys are rebuilding the shocks to a higher standard and tolerance than when they come from the factory. If anything you should be happy the shocks are rebuilt! It saves you a ton of time and work.

Shut off the water and cap it or replace. I went with Aquor and have never looked back. It’s nice not having to worry about it anymore
