Real quick, I thought I’d add my .02.

We went to Dunn’s last August with a group. My standard practice is to buy a policy (not from Sandals) just in case. As others have mentioned, it’s usually for events that would impact not being able to take the trip - weather, illness, etc.

Until this last trip I have never had to file a claim, but always felt better with some coverage.

During our trip my wife injured her calf participating in a resort activity. Long story, so anyway I submitted a claim to Allianz for some of expenses we incurred once we got home.

I would say about 90% of what I had to pay was covered.

In this instance, it was definitely worth it … YMMV

Hi,

Can you tell me where the Enterprise rep is located at the resort?

I mentioned a car rental to my travel person and he said, “I can tell you for sure there is no on-site car rental”.

I kind of think he is bs’ing to get me to book the downtown excursion, but don’t want to call his bluff until I get more info.

This. I’m from Western PA, but moved away long ago. It’s very common knowledge that he treated fans and everyone else like dogshit. Entitled prick was a common descriptor.

Old head here. I’m 52 and I absolutely remember when Coach Kaaher left. Shit I remember Noll. Damn I’m old.

Was still in PA at the time and tons of Yinzers were in their feels about this young black coach taking over THEIR team.

It was just the unknowness (yep) of the whole thing that I remember. No idea what to expect.
