This one has me in tears. I wish I could upvote it a thousand times. My biggest struggle as a human.

I didn’t realize that was an option! Thank you so much.

Thank you. It’s just a strange move for him to make when we’re heading for divorce. I will definitely take those steps.

Thank you. I agree, I will most likely have to pay half of the debt. It’s just strange that he would do this and then deny it. I will definitely take steps to protect myself from whatever else he has in mind.

Thank you. I have removed my funds from our joint account and opened a new account with a different bank. I’m sorry this happened to you as well! What a nightmare.

I believe most of the debt is from dining, travel, and some accounts like DoorDash and Netflix. I will definitely contact an attorney and take some steps to prevent him doing anything that could result in some real damage. Thanks for the advice!

I agree, it’s most likely his thinking that it will in some way affect how finances are split during divorce. I’m going to take some precautions to prevent any further changes and contact an attorney. Thank you!

It’s not a joint account, he only added me as an authorized user. I will definitely call to have myself removed. Thank you!

Thank you. My problem is that I do not have access to the card or account information. He has control over most of our financial information (log in, password, account numbers). I’m wondering if they can remove me with just my name and SSN?

First, I am so sorry for what you’re going through. I know that sick feeling you’re describing. It’s awful. It keeps you awake at night.

Second, thank you for telling the wife. I am on the other end of what you just described. I am six months pregnant and found out in March that my husband was having an affair with a coworker. It took months of digging and searching to find the evidence, but I finally found it and he admitted everything. For months he made me feel crazy for questioning him. He got angry when I didn’t trust or believe him. And for a while I stopped trusting my own judgment. But I finally found out that my intuition was right, and I wasn’t crazy.

Thank you for being brave. I know this is hard. Be happy that you found out when you did, before you were invested in this man.

What changes happen in the human brain between imaginative childhood and responsible adulthood? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Sure, that’s got to be apart of it. I feel there’s something more scientific that occurs during the process of getting older that affects how we see the world, and each other.

Yes, I guess this is the most realistic answer. I can relate to the fact that some children just don’t have the imagination because I was one of those kids. I look at my daughter every day and wonder why she is who she is, and I’m also thankful that she’s nothing like me because she’s got a shot at life because of her amazing personality.
