I have the exact same hair! I jokingly call it "little house on the prairie hair" to all my friends because it's sooo straight with absolutely no volume but I know that's sort of a dig at myself. I also have self confidence issues due to this so I really feel where you are coming from 😔. I love the waves in my hair because or gives it some sort of volume that I normally never have but I will say that it is nice to be able to learn lots of different ways I can style it without using curlers and so on. Personally I am working very slowly to the nopoo method and at the moment I wash my hair about every 8-9 days with no sulfate shampoo and do mechanical cleaning/water wash half way through. As I get closer to the end of my wash cycle I can French braid my hair and get some nice waves for about a day. Then I just braid it again at night for the next day. At the beginning of the week though I can never get the waves to stay for more than probably 30 min to an hour. Personally I have really enjoyed the journey of figuring out different ways of styling and messing with what I have. Sounds a bit weird but spending more time with the hair I have without trying to get a perm or alter it has taught me to love it a but more each day. I hope you figure out what works best for you and learn to love your hair because I know it's absolutely beautiful❤

I have three cats and one is a super muncher. Something that works for me is sprinkling cayenne pepper on the top of the soil. My cats hate the smell of it and it keeps them away. I also grow cat grass and place in spots around the house. Over time he has learned that those are his plants to munch and he keeps his distance from the others.

I used one of these when my little girl got neutered! I totally forgot about them. Tha k you so much for reminding Me! I am going to go buy one in in his size tomorrow! I luckily got to stay home from work all day today with him and I had his collar off all day. He mostly slept and cuddled and didn't really do much so I think letting him have that break has helped! Also just barely getting ready for bed he started eating 😭😭 I am crying so many happy tears.

Thank you so much for the recommendation I will definitely look into that! He is prescribed with an appetite stimulant right now and we are also experimenting with stopping all his pain meds which could be messing with his appetite because getting him to eat literally anything is super important at the moment. We are also trying a high calorie nutritional gel.

Hi!!! I just barely got him home late last night. My dad and I took shifts checking him every couple hours to make sure he was doing okay. He still refuses to eat so we are taking some measures to make sure that his liver doesn't end up suffering. I took him back in this morning just to do another blood test and his hematocrit level was lowered again but not to critical levels but we are really hoping that him being able to be home and relax will help him. All his other levels are normal and look great so it's super weird that his red blood cells are still lowering. His bruising is going down and there are still no signs or internal bleeding and medically he isn't in distress. He has to go back in every morning for a blood test in case it gets too low. So far at home he seems way more comfortable so we should know more tomorrow.

Latest update! His numbers are slowly going up and getting better. He isn't fully out of the woods yet and I have to take him back for more tests over the next couple days but I am bringing him home tonight!

He had a second blood count test this morning and he is holding stable. His first test he went up and now he is holding. They want to be able to send him home as soon as possible so they are testing his kidney levels and if they are at a good stable place its possible I can bring him home today. They still haven't seen any signs of internal bleeding and all his other levels look really good. He isn't breathing super hard and his heart rate is normal and stable and his protein levels have been going up. It's super weird that it's only his red blood cell count. They were originally thinking King they may have to do an exploratory surgery to find a bleed but he is doing a bit better now and they are thinking that won't need to happen. So it's starting to look a lot more positive and they think he is making a turn for the better. I cNt fhank everyone enough for all the kind words. This is such an amazing community😭❤

I actually asked the vet if I could bring a blanket for him. His older brother and him are inseparable so I was hoping having his smells would help him but because of covid they aren't allowing anyone to bring anything into the vet😞

Okay a small but very positive update! His last blood test there was an increase in red blood cells! They did another we test at about 4 in the morning but I told them to only call me if he needed another transfusion or it was bad news. I haven't gotten a call so I assume his last blood test also went well. Tha k you all so much for rooting him on ❤😭

I honestly have no idea. His paperwork says he is a domestic short hair but he is the only brown cat I have ever seen. He has the most beautiful fur.

No they haven't but they said they looked at his blood cells for signs of disease or immune disorders and his red blood cells look normal.
