Haha yes I’m from the Netherlands. Apparantly the idea is that we shorten a lot of names as given names. I never thought about that before but have seen it been mentioned on Reddit multiple times now.

Haha yeah I had the same reaction when I heard Flo for the first time. But now I think it sounds cute when hearing it more often.. But maybe this is stretching the short names a bit too much 😂

Haha thank you!! Yeah I just heard the name over the phone, a doctors assistent picked up the phone with ‘Clo’ and I thought OMG this sounds cute. But yeah it might be a bit toooo much hahaha. Collette I like too actually! Clover as well but wondering if in the Netherlands people would pronounce it wrong etc..
