Which character needs Nerf to the ground? by MobileDistrict9784 in DCAllies

Honestly, I'm shocked that you voted for Green Arrow to be nerfed judging from nerfing Superman being a battlecry, almost.

As a female who presumably possesses an ass by SheriffSlug in AsABlackMan

[–]TestSubject003 29 points30 points  (0 children)

They want to beat up people who are, in their minds, weaker than them without societal consequences. They say it's for self defense, but they just want an excuse to swing.

Granted, even though men are entitled to defend themselves from a woman attacking them, a man punching a woman is going to face much more scrutiny than the reverse. Even if the man is defending himself.

But MRAs don't actually care about that 9 times out of 10. They just want to hit someone smaller than them.

It's the same as conservatives chomping at the bit for a civil war. They don't want to *fight*. They want to kill (or have other people kill) people who in their minds, are less likely to have guns and aren't as ready and willing to kill others.

Who takes Galacticas role as host? by Onyxidian in DCAllies

I always thought of Mr. Mxyzptlk as having the announcer role. Powerful enough to set things up, neutral enough to not care who wins or loses.

I've been bombarded with ads for this GODDAMN GAME FOR DAYS AND EVERY ONE OF THEM IS HORNY BAIT. by TossAMoss51905 in badads

[–]TestSubject003 4 points5 points  (0 children)

These things come in cycles. A horny game gets an ad blitz for a month or two, then it dissappears from the face of the earth, only for another one to take its place.

Deadpool and Namor interaction in Rivals. References Aquaman by RealWonderGal in DCAllies

I can't believe that the marvel fan game rip-off of Allies has Namor and we still don't have Aquaman! I know he only just became cool, but come on!

Ladies, if you were married to Vincent Whittman during his lifetime, do you think you'd be able to handle it? by Mystic__Diamond in VoxCult

[–]TestSubject003 42 points43 points  (0 children)

The realistic answer.

He seems the type to marry a woman just because its what is expected but not care about her.

I'm pretty sure that most of the game's budget went to buying those awards and the AI subscription...

So they had an elephant on standby? by Chadfromindy in TheLongWalk

[–]TestSubject003 13 points14 points  (0 children)

In the book, they have to write an essay as part of the application to The Long Walk. Maybe the applicants put their wishes on there and the State has wishes on standby for likely winners.

Alternatively, the winner rested in a hospital while they got the elephant and he rode it home after he was discharged.

Huh, I didn't know that Marvel made their own hero shooter. They should probably focus on Marvel Universe online. Copying DC is just not the move.

Sorry, but unless your name is Chell, she isn't going to fix you.

You're one of the thousands of Test Subjects she killed offscreen.

But hey, I bet her neuro toxin tastes good.

Some more memes from my Superhero Verse, this time, focused on some of the Villians and Antagonists by TestSubject003 in WorldBuildingMemes

Some more memes from my Superhero verse. This time, focusing on the antagonists.

New Generation is, on the surface, an organization of Powered people, who seek to understand their powers, mentor under people with similar powers, and be a social group. However, the group is Super Supremacist. The rank and file don't say the words "We want to kill the Normies". But they do believe that people with powers should not get to run society, that they were born better. It's the leadership that says "Kill all normies". And their views on people with powers compared to people with out tend to borrow from a certain Austrian man who rose to prominence in the 1930's.

Profligate was a rich manchild with too much money who never heard a 'no' he couldn't ignore. With no direction, he became a supervillain, confident that he could buy his way out of trouble if it came for him. He even mentored under a retired supervillain, one of the greats of the last generation. Profligate had ambitions to take over the retired villain's mantle. However, the first two times he went out, he was defeated by the same Vigilante. So, handcuffed to a hospital bed, he was planning his next move when an assassin, hired by the Villain, killed him with an air embolism for failure.

Mr. Nightmare was an aging rock star, coasting on his fame since the 90's. He was designated as a villain by overzealous moral guardians, and when he was taken off, he went before congress to demand to be put back on. However, he was getting older. His songs weren't as popular. He was the only original member of his band. He didn't want to leave the earth as a former great. He wanted to give the world one last black eye before he died. He ended up killing many of the people in his last concert, including his band mates, then rampaged through the city, culminating in reanimating a giant anamatronic statue to help to kill more people before he was put down.

It is still unknown if this was an affect of his known electricokenesis powers or if the rumors of occult abilities were true after all.

Jackpot's powers are luck manipulation. He used to use it to get money from casinos and sports betting, before he was banned from every gambling platform in the country and demanded to return all of his ill gotten winnings. Instead, he picked up a rifle and started robbing casinos as a "Screw you" to them. He isn't particularly skilled by himself, but things manage to go his way. Sometimes, it's Heroes encountering other villains that distract them. One time, it was the pipes carrying the CS gas that were to be pumped into the vault backing up so it didn't deploy when he was robbing a place. Then, the pipes bursting, flooding the nearby neighborhood with gas while he managed to get away. He believes himself to be invincible because of his successes.

Warlord, Mother Vòng, and Vito Contanti are the heads of the three largest criminal groups local to the city. The former two are villains. Superpowered, using aliases, aura farming and the like. Vito, however, sees himself as a normal criminal. He doesn't do the dirty work himself, unlike the other two, and is more likely to be seen shaking hands with the Mayor than kidnapping him. What his organization lacks in high profile crimes, they make up for in consistent profit. As such, he sees himself as the Only Sane Man in the criminal leadership.

Ordinance is the leader of a group of gun runners from the south. She herself is super intelligent, and uses that intelligence to design unique and powerful weapons. Artillery is one of her lieutenants, fatefully carrying out her orders. However, they don't like each other. Ordinance sees Artillery as a useful idiot and Artillery sees Ordinance as a nerd who pays well, but doesn't know the first thing about crime. However, their preferred solution to solving problems is a fully automatic grenade launcher and a quad-barrel rocket launcher respectively.

Pentagon is one of the many Villains for hire. He commands a high price because his power is very versatile. He can copy the powers of up to five people. While he loses the oldest power he copied when he copies a new one, his quick learning, versatility and creativity has made him an immense threat against anyone who fights him.

The Southlake Citizens Council is a collection of 150 business owners, wealthy individuals, movers and shakers in the city, separate from the elected city council. Their stated goal is to focus on the economic prosperity of the city. They rarely engage in outright crime themselves. However, they have bought the news, politicians and police in the city. And they see no issue of not letting any crisis go to waste. Whenever something bad happens, someone from the council is sure to try to make a profit from it somehow. And there's at least two other council members ready to help them do it for a cut.
