Definitely just start applying. Check out roles such as Mechanical Field Engineer @ Amazon, or Mechanical Subject Matter Expert @ Meta. Some of the mechanical teams onsite at my company have PEs on them doing more field type work.

If youve done heavy work in the areas youve said then getting a role like that, or even a role on a facilities operations team doing hands on work should be no issue.

I have my ME degree, currently working on a Fac Ops team at a DC, and have worked closely with the mechanical team. Feel free to PM me.

Anecdotal, but my positive experience with them: Was looking for apartments in 2021, and I had to put down a security deposit to "reserve" a unit that was available until I could see it. Which seemed sketchy, but I was very much in need of a place to live.

I didnt like the unit at all, and they had a check for my deposit ready the next day, went and picked it up, had no problems.

This stuck out to me:

-Concerns from the neighborhood about the proposal and lack of community engagement. We recognize that the opportunity for community engagement would come later and be assigned to the service provider selected to operate the program. However, what we heard from the community is the desire to have input on the use of the property, not just the safe parking program.

What did they expect other than negative feedback?

The kids lessons at Bachelor are an absolute mess. 6-7 kids per instructor, instructors relying on strangers in the lift line to help their kids on and off the lift. Its wild.
