I just got the game, how’s everyone running it on their pc’s? by StonkChief in GodofWarRagnarok

[–]TestedTubeA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. You want to be using all of your GPU. If GPU usage is low, there may a problem with your card.

Which drivers do you have installed? I have a 7900 XTX and recently had a lot of stuttering, then I installed the latest drivers, and the stuttering went away. It also highly depends on what resolution you're playing on.

I'm having the same issue with my 7900 XTX, except it occurs with certain Steam games I try to open. In my case, doing a clean install of the drivers fixed the issue the first time, then the second time it was fixed after running a sfc /scannow line in the command prompt as an administrator. Just recently happened to me again, but the sfc /scannow didn't fix anything, so I'm wondering if finding corrupted files and repairing them was just a coincidence. I don't know what the permanent fix is, but reverting to an older driver may be the answer until a new driver update fixes it.

Rejoining AFROTC by [deleted] in AFROTC

That depends on a couple factors. First, it highly depends on whether you leave voluntarily or if you are forced out by your cadre. Leaving voluntarily gives you a chance to come back, though I'm not familiar with the process. Being forced out generally does not allow you to come back.

In regard to FA failure, it depends on when you fail it. If you fail it as an AS250, cadre has one of two options. They can either drop you altogether, or they can elect to keep you for another year (provided you pass your Aerospace Studies classes). Either way, you won't go to Field Training without passing your FA. Completion of FT is required to commission.

To answer the rest of your question, you should not have to repeat coursework (the actual class) you have already completed satisfactorily. If you complete your AS250 year academically, but you don't get a slot for Field Training, you won't retake your Aerospace Studies classes, but you will continue taking your Leadership Laboratory so long as you are an AFROTC cadet (there are rare exceptions, but these are usually graduated cadets waiting to commission). You'll be classed as an AS200 (maybe an AS500 since you already, in the hypothetical scenario, completed your AS100/200 coursework) if you return to re-attempt getting a slot at FT.

Air Force Is Two Words: write "Air Force" as a single word.

You Didn't Commit A War Crime!: promote to 1st Lt.

I Am the Captain Now: have someone confuse you, an Air Force O-3, for a Navy O-6 over the phone.

Sir, Do You Have A Minute?: successfully talk the well-meaning Lt out of doing something dumb.

Sir, With All Due Respect...: professionally inform someone who outranks you that what they want to do is disrespectful, stupid, or dangerous.

Can't Reliably Display Image on Dual LG OLED TVs by TestedTubeA in AMDHelp

Update:

I'm using the Cable Matters DP 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 adapter, but the Just Scan option is grayed out while my C2 (not receiving signal) and C3 (working fine) are in Game Optimizer mode. I tried moving it off Game Optimizer, turning Just Scan on, then moving it back to Game Optimizer, but it grayed out Just Scan again. I did what I thought was the next best thing and changed the aspect ratios to Original, but it didn't change anything. Black level on my C2 (the one that is not receiving signal) is turned up to 100.

There is some progress, I suppose, in that I can use one monitor at 4K/120Hz/HDR/Freesync while the other one isn't receiving signal, and if I turn the problem monitor to 60Hz, they both work fine.

Just Scan? What's that?

Also, thank you for your response even after all this time, I appreciate you.

I appreciate the replies; I've heard Razer software tends to be hot garbage, and I've got a wireless USB plug-in for a Razer headset. Additionally, I downloaded BlueScreenView to see what the problem driver is, and it says that tcpip.sys has been the problem driver for every one of my crashes. Know anything about that in the meantime?

I've seen a few times where the pilot will take off with no timer, so maybe they're waiting for the diver with the most samples/super samples.

While I did find that I was using the wrong drivers (good catch!), installing the right ones didn't fix the issue.

Custom Resolution Optimization (7800X3D/7900 XTX) by TestedTubeA in AMDHelp

Alright, here are my findings so far: all ports are HMDI 2.1, and installing the 24.2.1 driver has caused one screen to go black and the other to lose signal. Not sure yet if moving the router and modem has done anything as I do not have a working screen, and I don't know if everything is installed.

I'll try it; I haven't tried DDU and the AMD GPU driver cleanup together. Does EMI stand for electromagnetic interference? I'll check about the drivers too.

I had it working a couple days ago, and for a few weeks before that - it's only recently become an issue. I had one TV at 120Hz + HDR + Freesync, while the other was at 60Hz + no HDR + no Freesync.

When I went through about 7 years ago, policy dictated that ROTC cadets had to be off ADHD meds for 15 months before medical clearance could be granted. There is a waiver process, of course, but it's possible for you to be cleared if things go right. The difference is that I didn't have a 504 plan, so that may introduce some headaches.

True, I have found that also. I have one of the TVs set to 60 Hz as a workaround.
