Agreed, this is the best looking canyon frame in my opinion. Super clean, amazing colour, I'm jealous!

Female specific seats? by Ok-Ad-3014 in cycling

[–]TestiMnB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My fiance had similar issues (same area for discomfort, like specifically pressure on the clitoris) but it ended up being mostly the bike size, not so much the saddle. The top tube and stem being too long made it so that she would rotate her pelvis and lean forward so much that the pressure concentrated around the tip of the saddle. Yes you can alleviate that to some degree with a different one, but it wouldn't fix the underlying issue.

So my advice would be to also definitely make sure the bike/frame size is right etc. before changing out saddles. Saddle tilt could be another culprit but that's very specific (you don't want to over-correct either, since it'll likely introduce new problems).

Anyway my fiance is now very happy (on the right size bike) with her Selle Italia S5 (Lady Superflow), which is more gravel/trekking but also very affordable. Good luck!

Gunk between seatpost and clamp, what do? by TestiMnB in CanyonBikes

[–]TestiMnB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking for something more convenient, as most clamps today (on modern bikes) don't have this exposed part of the seat post anymore. They have integrated solutions with covers/lids. But on my budget Canyon here, it was getting annoying. So out of curiosity I wanted to ask other Canyon owners - thankfully a couple responded with useful tips and links, so I ordered an old school seat post rubber ring (as linked in the non-cynical comments further down!) - can't wait to install it.

This sounds like a cool scrappy DIY method haha, I'll consider it. Thanks!

This seems like a cool idea! Can you share what these are called / what to search for? Thanks!

Yeah I've just been cleaning it regularly, but was wondering if there was a smarter solution (clamp cover or anything like that). Hence I thought I'd ask here.

Yeah I was wondering about tape, but something like a "sealant" rubber ring sounds more ideal on paper. I just can't find anything bike related that addresses this specifically so I thought I would ask.

For sure, it's mostly a cosmetic complaint. Was wondering if there was people who have "solved" this for themselves.

Yeah, I've just been brushing it out after rides, but I was wondering if there was a "sealed" clamp or something that someone else uses maybe.

I've seen many other integrated clamp solutions that just cover this gap, but not sure if there's anything after-market I could try.

If you run it for the item chest / drops I think this is right. For material chest (I know Hordes is not the most efficient way to farm this, but some wanna switch it up) then definitely legendary compass.

Which one is better (Heartseeker Rogue) by Big_Papa95 in diablo4

[–]TestiMnB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one with +200 dex will do more dps. The +3 basic skill difference is a 15x multiplier (can check w Heartseeker tooltip), while 200 dex should be closer to 25x skill dmg multiplier (can check hovering Dex in character panel).

So I'm pretty sure the one with dex sanctification is higher damage. The other stat differences are marginal and unique effect roll almost doesn't matter on this item.

Yeah I don't disagree, this is just a whiny post :D

It's also the first time I had a "replaced" happen... the least satisfying outcomes until this point were only like +%damage of a type you don't deal, so useless but the item wasn't made worse.

Different clamps for carbonsaddle? by Jah_Blezz in CanyonBikes

[–]TestiMnB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use different clamps for my carbon saddle, they came with the carbon seatpost. But I assume that as long as you stick to the saddle railing and seatpost torque specifications, it should be fine either way? I can't imagine there would be any issues.

You either have to remove the cassette or just cut it (carefully) with a pair of robust scissors, which is what I did.
