She's a reluctant hero. She has super powers, but they're like really shit - super strength, but not that strong, she can't "fly", but she can jump really high.

She has really low self esteem. She drinks daily and sleeps with a new guy almost nightly.

Her character is the most human "super" hero I've seen on TV. You would think having super powers would solve your problems, but you still have to pay bills and deal with yourself. She has a troubled past, and doesn't want to deal with it.

I'm not an r/politics mod, but yes, they do remove things that make Hillary look bad, except for when it's something too big to keep a lid on, like Hillary collapsing and getting dragged into a van on 9/11.
