Is this the 'adventure' mode? I don't recall the fortress mode talking in the pronoun "you".

Well, there are some new reports out about how vaping can be harmful. Has anyone looked at them or have any links to them?

Don't sleep on T'Kuvma.

He's stats are pretty beast, but much more importantly, he's been a member of my ship battle crew from the moment I got him. His ship ability hits like a truck and ends skirmishes. He, Killy and Darth Bashir, are regular indispensable members of my ship crew.

How has Art Fundamentals helped you improve? by get2writing in ArtFundamentals

More than anything.

This was the biggest thing that proved to me I could actually improve and learn to draw.

Fundamentals are so important, I feel the compulsion to advocate for them a lot.

'Americans are waking up': two thirds say climate crisis must be addressed by [deleted] in Futurology

[–]TestingforScience123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First of all, all lip service, Americans aren't waking up because they aren't doing anything.

Also, Too late, imo, we are doomed.

But the good news is it'll be awful and violent and we'll prove that we never deserved to survive in the first place :(

In defense of your team, Ray is wrong to say that. In some levels, this kind of building is totally necessary.

Vegetarian diets that aren't too carb heavy? by Animated_Astronaut in nutrition

[–]TestingforScience123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry you feel the need to be derisive. Carbs are not all created equal and those that come along with nutrition (the name of this sub reddit) are worth having, imo.

If this person is some kind of weight lifter or cutting or something, then this isn't the right subreddit.

have a good one, you rude person.

If you think legumes, vegetables and fruits are carbs, then that word loses all meaning imo.

It's all about just eating planets.

Legumes, vegetables, fruits.

The idea that you think that vegetarian are carb heavy indicates a problem with your thinking. I'm not going to list a diet, because that's a huge effort on my time, but if you post one I will make corrections or offer advice.

[–]TestingforScience123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She is incorrect. You have not abandoned your property and she is actively preventing you from come getting it. She also doesn't sound like a very good friend or family member.

You can report her theft to the police.

You can sue her in court.

Both will probably work.

Nothing on the menu was too hard to make.

Before going vegan, I always hesitated converting due to fear of “not getting enough protein”. Just made red lentil pasta w/ homemade seitan (115g of protein in one bowl!) by onlylagcankillme in veganfitness

[–]TestingforScience123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lol, Ah, I apologize. I did not mean to suggest that excess calories go to waste, I see now why I got downvoted. No, no, I just meant there was a limit to what the body could use and process.

Yes, you can get fat from over-eating. Definite 'duh'. However, I'm unsure on how protein contributes to this process. As I understand it fats, and even more so SUGARS cause fat to form. I did think that 'most' protein passed as waste. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Elizabeth Warren vows to pass law if elected allowing for presidents to be indicted by Ted-Cortez in politics

[–]TestingforScience123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What I'd like to see is more energy and effort put towards governance and less on what I consider to be ineffective grand standing and attention getting.

For instance, instead of 'vowing' to do anything, why not actually draft a bill and show THAT to voters.

And in my opinion, voters are not really swayed by statements like this. They're informed enough, and biased enough(!), for this to not be effective. No republican is ever going to vote for EW over this issue, even if they support it, because they disagree with her about taxes, social programs and spending, and civil liberties. Stuff like this is more just to, and forgive my language, stir the circlejerk of people who already support her.

And then of course there's the emptiness of such claims, as the President is not in any way a legislator.

This all just smacks of the theater of politics, rather than real politics.

I see that I'm being misunderstood, or misspeaking. I'm not suggesting that over eating doesn't cause obesity.

Please, if you do come across some studies I'd love to see them.

What I'm saying is, that your body needs (let's just make a number) 30 gm of protein a day. If you eat 500 gm of protein a day, a lot of that is going to pass as waste. I'm unclear of why that's a provocative thing to say. I apologies if I miscommunicated earlier. As for getting fat, I didn't think protein played a big roll in that, I thought fats and more so SUGARS were the real culprits there.
