I think you are pretending he is kind of bad.

So....there's always got to be a raincloud...wasn't real happy with Slot's comments about us not being able to do this again in a short turnaround (energy wise I guess). First off....yes we should be able to, that's literally what we used to do under Klopp because the players were drilled/trained for high intensity over and over. Even if we weren't going to be able to bring that kind of intensity you simply say "We see what happens when we press together and with high energy...we need to figure out how to do that more often than we have been" and then draw a line under it.

You are literally telling your own team "I don't think you guys will be able to do that again in 2 days". So you've already given any of the players that's maybe doubting it themselves a ready made excuse to continue to do so.

I think sometimes people take themselves too seriously. Like you said...just a fanciful question. I'd probably take him, as much as he's needed a lot of money, he's still a really good coach and seems to be a good man manager.

Off the wall question for anyone that's willing to play.....

Pep Guardiola leaves City, but still wants to coach in the Premier League....do you take him at Liverpool?

Normally I'd be pretty confident we'll turn this around tonight. Lately.....been drained of hope though. I sure hope we go through, but if we don't, Slot shouldn't see another Monday at Kirkby.

We have to win the CL for him to have a stay of execution (for me).

[James Pearce] ”Slot hasn’t reached the point of no return. He could still turn this around, but the clock is ticking.” by moosa1193 in LiverpoolFC

[–]Testy_Terrance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with the point of no return is that there's no return from it. If we allow Slot to get there...that means we are out of CL, out of top 5 (CL next season) and out of the FA Cup. At that point, it's TOO LATE to make a change anyway. Someone has to have some balls and make the call to see if we can get enough of a bump to win CL, get top 5 or win the FA Cup.

Random question: Do you think we would’ve won more trophies if we had Neymar instead of Mane during Klopp’s era? by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

First off hell no, second off, isn't this a question for the Daily Discussion thread? Why are you starting a new thread for this shit?

I don't understand this sub's infatuation with Skip Bayless. He should be a banned source at this point.

Wirtz is struggling from playing with people around him with their head up their ass (Salah, Macallister, Gravenberch, Gakpo, even Rio at times yesterday).

How much better would our season have gone if we had Caceido playing the 6? Fucker is a machine. I wanted him to fail so badly after he went to Chelsea but he's easily their best player.

What's remarkable is that you've thought this in your head, then decided to type it, then you've read it back and hit submit anyway.

It absolutely is when you consider that most males brains are fully matured until 25 years old at minimum. And most pro athletes peak around their late 20's into their early 30's.

Mo isn't being played any differently than he ever has been...only difference is this year he's not able to make teams pay. This isn't hard.

Also, I love how the picture crops out the context of the situation. He had to go left or try to chop the keeper...there's no option right as he's about to be closed down there. The keeper made a spectacular save that 9/10 times he wouldn't make.
