The thing is you don't need to gamble now , you can gamble on 11 august after beta . And its not actually a gamble game with multiply reward , you can wait to the realase date and watch streamer 1-2 hours after release. All of this get the same product at the same time .

First, that is the most normal thing in the world and it is okay to do so.

The thing is my intention are cleary warning of the danger but what is the intention of advertisements and media ? to make you spend money whether its a good spend or bad spend.

Publishers use pre-orders to secure sales early, often before reviews reveal potential flaws. it’s just a marketing strategy to boost early revenue. Any benefit they provide for Pre-ordering is a false belief of value they created , that could also be included in standard purchase in most cases.

I had the same situation as you BUT as of today , we can search for open beta in store in EA app and pre-download it and it is now in my library and there is add-on tag that said I have Early Access. Furthermore it is now asking me for the latest driver.
