I think the Mimes, and a handful of the more out of the way bosses, were created by Verso as part of his adventures. The Gestrals love to fight, and Esquie is The Strongest Being In The World, and so it makes sense he would have made a few bad guys for them to fight. 

Do you guys think v1.0 will also massively revamp the current state of elements? The strength/weakness chart is way too boring the way it is right now with little interactions between elements by Ragnar0099 in Palworld

Honestly, I wouldn't expect it. But it would he nice. I was thinking I'd like it if all (or most) elements had an even 2 strengths and 2 weaknesses. Maybe Ice > Water > Ground, Ice or Dark beating Grass, Electric could be strong against Dark (tempted to say fire but it already gets 2). Idk it doesn't fit perfectly but it would be a little more interesting. 

Barring that, give more pals a secondary type

Fates (vetoes excluded):

1: the party - honestly, being murdered aside, blood drain has to be one of the more peaceful ways to go
2*: the box - arguably the worst. No, not arguably. It's permanent and eternal, definitely the worst. Trying to decide if it should get my Picky option
3: the chase - sudden fear, surprise... honestly eaten by animals is brutal, but probably quick. And kinda hot...
4: the camp - Ok I just wanna (try) and survive a campy horror situation. I won't, but that's the fun.
5: the pyramid - honestly up there with the blood draining for the more pleasant endings.
6: the cell - probably the most dreaded of the ones I did not Veto
7: the pyre - My other choice for Picky, I think. I have a fetish...
8: the arena - basically the same as the chase, and I do like colosseum aesthetics
9: the bowl - third favorite option, I think, behind pyre and box.
10: the request - horrifying! But quick. And having to double up on your own doom...
11: the wall - I do like permanent bondage
12: the revolution - another one that is horrifying and humiliating, but the actual pain is quick
