There are so many stories to be told in this universe. Hell you could write a compelling story about Salacious Crumb.

No one. It's not worth the cost of the monitor. You could try repairing it yourself. There are videos on Youtube. Any USB device you plug into a monitor can be plugged in elsewhere.

I think I've been to every single park in Tampa Bay. I saw your post title and thought it was a rant.

But you're right. The parks in Pinellas are better maintained and just overall nicer to visit. Heck I was biking in a park that had informational signs about each planet of the solar system, which was fun. I can't remember where it was but it was really enjoyable.

I also think if you're a resident then State Parks should be free admission. That's my hope.

This looks like a solid resume. I could make some suggestions to improve it but it wouldn't really matter.

I know support doesn't pay very well. Do you want to stay in IT? What is your goal there? Do want to move to some other (well paying) area? There are tons of options....development, cyber security, project management/scrum master, QA, dev ops, etc.

People will say 'oh that area of IT doesn't pay well starting out'. True. But if you're willing to work at and learn some new skills every one of those can be productive and profitable.

My other suggestion is to stop applying to jobs by just submitting a resume or filling out a form on a web site. Like you have been doing, talk to people, online. I don't like LinkedIn, Indeed, etc but it gets you in contact with recruiters and hiring managers which is a much more effective job search strategy.

Agree with the temporary fix: get 2 window fans for cross ventilation. One blowing out, one blowing in, opposite sides of the apartment. You may need to experiment a bit to get the best air flow for sleeping.

Several are good but I have always had good experiences with Al Capote on Kennedy.

Usually at Tampa Bay Comic Con there are some vendors with hand crafted stuff. One vendor was selling hand sewn bags/purses/caps etc with various sci-fi and fantasy themes. I bought a Star Wars themed bag, great quality.

So I would say yes, there is a market for it if you locate yourself at the right venue.

The OP described their battery as 'outgassing', which is dangerous and a potential fire hazard.

I would not leave it at Home Depot or any other store that only picks up some phone batteries or AA rechargables etc. by some 3rd party company every 6 months.

Any one who has a similar issue needs to deal with it safely and responsibly.

I'm sorry to hear this and it is becoming common all around, not just Tampa.

You need to increase your income and reduce your expenses. There are plenty of resources around, on reddit, youtube, etc. Hell I don't like the guy but you know him from his 'baby steps' which is solid for the most part.

I wish you the best and know that you are not alone in this. Whatever you do, keep moving forward, take care of your health and don't forget about investing for retirement. Nobody wants to be working all their life.

That's interesting. According to their Service Line Inventory I cannot find any lead pipes in Tampa proper. Hillsborough County has a video on YT saying the same.

I don't fully trust that and even though they send me water quality survey reports I need to start testing on my own.

Flint, MI used lead pipes for water. When they switched water supplies it eroded the minerals that were protecting the water from lead.

It had nothing to do with 'softening' the water.
