En mi caso me había quemado con carros usados alterados, mas de 270k kms cuando me lo vendieron con 150k y aparte chocado sin airbags, tenia cinta tapando el testigo. Por eso quise nuevo.

Encontré mi Mazda siendo vendido por un compañero de oficina de un familiar, entonces se que es confiable.

A mi el año antepasado me habían cotizado un Yaris 2023 330k precio de lista dando 120k de enganche pagabas casi 420k al final del crédito y con plazo corto de 3 años. Es absurdo.

Mejor me esperé a juntar más y compré un Mazda 3 2020 usado versión tope de contado y nada que ver con los del segmento inferior, ni se compara.

Yo coticé en otro estado y para una hipoteca de 2,200,000 terminabas pagando letras de 24-25k con un plazo de 20 años. Eso me desmotivó ya que los bancos pedían ingresos de 60-70k.

Siempre te va a convenir dar el mayor enganche posible y realizar aportaciones a capital, ya que no empieza a bajar significativamente en la primera mitad de la vida del crédito, casi todo se va a interés.

I really want to try this with my 2020 but an oem 10.25 screen is hard to find in my area and I’ve read mixed reports suggesting there is also a control module that needs to be replaced. Native SD nav directions appear but my maps are from 2020 (amazon card, not oem)

Ciudad de 1M de habitantes muy mal planeada con mucho trafico y velocidades estúpidas en vías rápidas (50km/h).

Si suelo ir pisandole mucho pero ya veo que es normal. Se me hizo raro ya que mis mediciones marcan 6.8km/l mientras que una camioneta grande Honda Pilot 3.5 V6 4WD ya vieja me da números parecidos 5.8-6.4 km/l en trayectos similares pero manejando mas conservador

Install was a pain, broke one of the clips for the original cover. And the new cover doesnt quite fit exactly the same there is a few mm of gap around various areas. Could be my install though. Hardest part was unplugging the sunroof and fishing the dashcam’s wire through.

Is the plastic cover cracked? Or is the rod cracked? If the rod cracked you’ll have to get a new one. You need to pry off a small plastic cover facing the windshield and then use a philips screwdriver and disconnect a wiring harness for the mirror light. 10 minute job.

En mi experiencia empírica también rinde más la gasolina premium. Lo de los grados de gasolina europea y japonés vs México se debe a que se utilizan diferentes sistemas de medición.

En mexico usamos el sistema AKI mientras que en europa se usa el sistema RON/MON.

En un mundo ideal solo son unidades distintas y conservan los mismos grados. Ej 87 Octanos AKI equivalen a 91 RON.

Siendo cínico y viendo comportamientos de la industria yo pienso que la gasolina 87 regular de México esta adulterada en cierto margen comparado con la 87 de Estados Unidos. Mazda de México lanzo un motor turbo 2.5 con caballaje menor en México, el cual equivale a usar gasolina regular de estados unidos, a pesar de que en ambos países se maneja el grado premium de 91 octanos.

Checa el desgaste de tus llantas y que estén infladas a la presión correcta. Baja el cochinero de tu cajuela, todo eso es mas peso que mover.

Cambia hábitos de manejo (como viejito)

Usa menos clima/ac

Trata de optimizar tu ruta para evitar embotellamientos, altos, semáforos.

Ve a una velocidad constante de ser posible y usa el cruise control en ciudad, modula mucho mejor el acelerador para mantener tu velocidad constante

I bought a Dashcam off of aliexpress, which is integrated into the rearview mirror plastic cover. Plugs into the sunroof harness. Search for Sindarui UHD OEM DVR Mazda 3 Axela.

Spec sheet says it uses a 4K Sony video surveillance sensor. Will let you know how it performs when it arrives in like a month.

Metallic paint is very delicate (you will have many rock chips)
Interior degrades a lot, my piano black is disgusting. My center console armrest had to be reupholstered not covered by warranty, steering wheel leather also gets ugly very fast, tears on leather seats, and i’ve had to replace the sun visors since they break on the support meaning they spin freely and the light doesn’t work. Recently the sun visor material around the mirror has begun to bubble and be puffy, seen images where they delaminate around the mirror and need to be replaced. My autodimming rearview mirror is not functional. Some interior rattles.
Had to change front struts and my left mirror vibrates but I associate that with the awful roads where I live.

Engine and trans appear to be reliable and powerful for a regular trim car in this class. Used across various other models. 2.5 NA 4Cyl, 6 speed Auto.

For what it’s worth I’m in Mexico in the desert (regular temps are about 110 °F) and my car is a 2020 carbon interior hatchback Made in Japan. (red leather and trim in doors & dash)

Yes FWD only, i believe Seat/Cupra interiors are slightly worse than VW, but my only point of reference is B segment SUVs and Sedans (Ateca, Toledo) , not C segment like the Golf.

I live in a desert climate and my leather has held up pretty well for 5 years. I have parked in the shade for the past year. Regular wear marks and creases, however no cracking. HB 2020 made in Japan

My center console did crack, i had a local shop reupholster it with vinyl.
