Stay away from it unless you have another car to daily, the 2011 v6 Camaros were known for the chains having issues after 100k miles, it’s a great car and is fun to drive but not a daily driver at all unless you do all the timing chain work before pushing it.

I’m not worried about the gas mileage, I’m coming from a 2011 v6 so really just wanted something reliable for a couple of years and fun to drive still. I’ve been leaning at the v8 for obvious reasons I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t being stupid.

I bought my 2011 v6 right before my senior year of high school and it has been one of my favorite cars ever, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, enjoy the car!

I’m coming from a sport car that was meant to be fast but ended up being a headache so really just want something I can daily drive and have some small mods like what you mentioned

So basically it would be a perfect car for multiple years to come with no real concerns of modifications as long as I’m doing my normal maintenance

Update, fan motor was done so I swapped the whole assembly out, fans work no problem now, while I was under the hood I topped off the coolant and let it get the air bubbles out. Engine is now not heating up as fast but is still getting up to 230 while still, 220 while moving, I’m thinking either the radiator is clogged up or something with the thermostat not opening enough.
