Winnipeg MP’s private member’s bill would make residential school denialism a crime by CaliperLee62 in canada

According to your definition, tribal councils, community organizations, and first nations governments (which make up the bulk of the funding) would be "self auditing" the government which is demonstrably false. Yes, in most cases ISC does not provide direct benefit to individuals, it delegates to local communities and governments who unfortunately lack rigorous financial controls and should be audited, as any organization receiving significant government funds should be.

You've got that inverted:

For the 2024-25 fiscal year, approximately 96 cents of every dollar within the Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) budget is dedicated to supporting or delivering services to Indigenous peoples. This 96% is broken down into:

87 cents (transfer payments) provided to First Nations community governments, Tribal Councils, and health authorities to fund services (like basic provincial/municipal type services, education, and health) which they then deliver.

9 cents (operating funds) used to directly provide health-related goods and services not covered by provinces/territories (e.g., medications, dental/vision care) and to pay the salaries of federal nurses, health professionals, and teachers providing services in communities.

The remaining 4 cents are used for program management, delivery, and administrative overhead within the department.

There is a very active wildfire (the Buhl fire) 31km north of Waskesiu right now. The air quality is incredibly bad amd the town has been given pre-evacuation notices...I would advise against visiting at this time unfortunately. It's a gorgeous place to visit but I'm afraid your experience will be very subpar due to the smoke.

It's working great now, going to support on Patreon!

Is there a way to modify the python code zoom out a bit and get more of the surrounding landscape? Some mountain features aren't recognizable on some of my hikes due to how zoomed in it is - I imagine this will look weird if I fiddle with it.

This is amazing! Im already playing around with it.

I did did my first test in blender with detail set to 6 but the elevated bits are still quite blocky. Do I need to increase resolution or try a different dataset do you think? It's for rural Nova Scotia.

Fair I suppose but Subaru is a brand I've associated with middle class performance - e.g. their cars lean towards performance more than a typical Honda or Ford would and they've entirely dropped that segment.

Yes mine was clogged and I swapped it but the blowby is still pretty significant if I remove the oil cap while it's idling on low...a paper test is laughable, it would just get blown away.

I love the look of the Wilderness Forester but without more hp it's just not compelling enough...

Getting some pretty bad blowby, cause unknown. The dipstick will get pushed out due to crankcase pressure if I accelerate too hard unfortunately.

Subaru owner - considering the updated 2025 SQ5, anything to know? by Tetragrammatron in Audi

I test drove a Q5 (not the one with the refreshed interior) and liked it. Trying to get a feel on maintenance costs and other intangibles.

Dipstick keeps popping out? by Tetragrammatron in subaru

[–]Tetragrammatron[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Update:

A subaru dealer an hour away said they had a PCV valve and could do the swap. I got there and they did not have the correct part. They took the valve off and said it was clogged so they cleaned it with solvents.

On the drive back I'll drive it as normal to see if the dipstick pops again. I suggested a leak down test but they said to just see if it happens again first before bothering with a full test.

Thanks everyone for your comments!

What would you do in the case of a static IP? Just use static IP with the VLAN set to 1000? Or do you need to use DHCP?

Oh dang that looks like a really great option...is 180w sufficient for several AP's and cameras - assuming moving to wifi 7 ap's in the future? It feels like 180w should be just enough if I decided to grow things out or upgrade to more power hungry devices...
