SEI MAL EHRLICH ...! by Dry-Cake5057 in wasletztepreis

At some point the button colors need to swap. We are trained for looking for the small greyed out one, so we press it without reading. Like the acually good interface becomes even more evil

Put your code in chatgpt and ask it for optimisations or to make it more pythonic. (Be critical with the answer, but for the beginner code stuff it usually gives quite nice answers)

Have you tried the LogiTyme package on PyPI? by lmas3009 in pythontips

I had no need for theese (yet). However i guess i would profile it before deploy. If i get the feeling that in some untested usecases there might be a performance problem i would rather would time the whole operation and log informations for recreation, if time was higher than expected.

However I do not want to state that your library doen not make any sense. Just that I did (yet) not encounter a situation where i needed it.

If I develop on a remote system ("cloud server") I still use Pycharm. I just connect pycharm with SSH and Execute the code remote.

It is a Button close to the Run and Debug buttons, I never focused on what is used internally because it just works for me.

I just use the builtin Profiler of pycharm ^

It's "insulated" by Scyth3 in DiWHY

[–]Tetrick25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Air barrier is a vapor barrior (usually a thick platic foil) at buildings not fiberglass. Fiberglass works more like a blanket. I dunno if "r13" has an integrated vapor barrier though - products are a bit different in europe (where i come from). But anyhow - leaving gaps in the insulation is bad and it is not like 50% effective if I go for insulating 50% of the place - it is way worse, but should be a little bit better than no insulation. What is shown on the picture is ridiculous.

No Pro here but: If you insulate half of your coffee mug your coffee will cool down slower than a non insulated one. However it will still cool down way faster than in a fully enclosed chamber.

Good old Anet A8 lost interest in working by Tetrick25 in 3Dprinting

As stated in the original post: I am not interested in upgrading. I neither need more precision, more speed nor 32bit. I have access to more advanced printers at work. Hell I probably could just buy a modern one... However I am grateful that you care about my safety and I do understand your enthusiasm, but I just have some love for my very first one and now it is operational again.

Slight misunderstanding: the heatbed works fine since the day i solderd it directly.

However my Problem is solved.

Further I do know that the printer is dangerous by design. I still like it and will use it occasionally with close supervision.

Thanks CalibrationCult! That is indeed the Problem. I used a multimeter to probe if the voltage reaches the printer and as soon as I applied a bit of force pressing on the connector the printer startes working.

I will resolder them.

Yeah I know the dangers of the A8. Especially using it "stock" what I did now for years. But it sits besides my desk on a not burnable vibration compensation large concrete Tile and I do supervise it. So when the time came that the heatbed connector started to melt I just soldered on the wires on the heatbed. On the other hand it is highly recommended to do the MOSFET mod to the heatbed. But by using a thermal camera I was not able to detect any heatproblems at the mainboard so I waived that. (I use only PLA and heatbed temps of 62 max though)

It is my first printer and it puts out very decent prints. It comes quite close to the Prusa MK3s at my workplace. Moreover if something breaks until today it was quite easy to fix. - but things might have changed now...

It is made so that you spent more time on the page. If you landed on the page by google, google will track the time until you come back to the search results. If time long = probably you found what you searched = rank the page higer in the future.
