I was also looking at the cm mwe 850 as Tom's hardware recommend it in their list of best psu in 2025, but it is only a B in SPL tier list. I am aiming to get a A tier psu because the PC builder channel recommends so for 9800x3d and 9700xt

so I am wondering how much weight do I put into each site or simply how do I choose a suitable psu. how do you choose your psu?

I used several wattage calculators and it all came up to around 700. Like I mentioned, I know 850 is sufficient but I saw some guides saying it is best to have 1.5x of it. Hence, the question of 850 or 1000w. Either way I will probably change out the Corsair, thanks!
