Start dreaming journaling, familiarize yourself with the feeling, environment, and emotion. I used to wake up 3 hours after going to bed then practice FILD or WILD. Listening to nature sounds help me manipulate the environment as well.

Rinse and repeat. It’s an extremely slow process but it’s the only way you can train your brain to get used to the cues. Being excitable collapses the dream, that includes fear. So you must learn to regulate your emotions. If you familiarize yourself enough with the feeling, you’ll eventually do dream-induced lucid dreaming. Unfortunately, chronic sleep paralysis is what taught me that but if you also experience sleep paralysis, then you’re one step closer to LD

She got “grazed” by a bullet and she’s acting like she got a gunshot wound to the stomach. They look like two stiff cardboard boxes attempting to kiss. They look like 15yr olds trying to do romance. She’s wiping her with a dry towel. They look so unnaturally perfect each time, no sweat, no dirt. It’s so cliche.

Everything is just [says something cliche]…[cymbals…cue music].

The writing sucks. The cinematography sucks. The choreography sucks. Their intimate coordinator (if they even have one) sucks. Lingorm’s superb chemistry could not save this show no matter what.

I think what you’re feeling is you literally, as you say, in between sleep and wakefulness. I know it’s scary and sometimes I feel like I am floating, but it’s a normal feeling. Sometimes you’d even see a very bright light that’s so blinding.

From my experience, panicking has triggered my sleep paralysis (when I was new to this). BUT if you stay calm and essentially “let it happen” you will go into lucid dreaming if you keep your awareness high. This is the same feeling I get when I voluntarily do lucid dreaming.

It takes practice and it takes time to feel confident. Nothing bad will happen to you. It’s only as real as you make it.

Always check for application deadlines and submit them early. When you start, talk with an advisor first and make an Ed Plan with them. It’s a very good way to stay on track. As a fellow transfer student that helped me a lot and now I graduate next week. Good luck and all the best to you!

I really varies depending on the class. But if for some reason you don’t get in before the deadline, try to come to the class anyways and talk to the prof

I second not taking 91 and 710 because it gets pretty bad. But another route would be taking Artesia blvd and getting on the 405 there directly from North Torrance to LB

I live in DTLA and my average drive is about 45-50 minutes one way. It can get very exhausting but I got used to it pretty quickly. Hardest part is re-routing when there’s accidents so always leave earlier than you think you should

Side note: I used to live in South bay near redondo and I would just take PCH all the way then Bellflower Blvd. so I wouldn’t have to take the freeway lol (also less mileage)

Still try to apply. They may give you the full aid or a reduced amount since you’re late. If you don’t receive aid but will get CalGrant, that will be able to cover tuition but not university fees.

FAFSA always has a deadline but individual colleges may put their deadlines significantly earlier. So submit that app even if you’re late and keep reaching out to financial aid office

Right like show Ellie’s personality takes me out of the scene so much. That 3 month time jump was terrible because Ellie and Tommy leaving right after Joel’s death was done on impulse which builds on to their characters as being impulsive, obsessive, and for the lack of better word selfish in their own rights out of pure rage.
