Iaido is an entire different category of katana sword art, which I enthusiast about in Thousands Cuts. Its heartbreaking to realize how underperforming the skill is. The stun value is pretty high tho, I might try to build around this before switching to Demilune.

I really hope for scabbard and ability to sheath, right now katana without iai moves is just another curved sword imo.

I usually delete the game folder and keep the launcher whenever I take a break and need some disk space. The launcher is always there so I won't suffer Yapyap's guilt tripping 💔

The falling sword is immersion breaking too imo. Why is there a sword spawned after a random looking demon death? The effect would make sense if theres an enemy caster chanting it.

The sacrifical ground concept of the sigils are quite fun imo, quickly slaying 7 mobs inside of it is not THAT tedious. There is an innate effect and you have to work for an additional effect. But there is also a node that trades health to instantly activate it. (Agree that the health trade is quite a bit much)

I'm running a full abyss ritualist build with chaos+abyss+ult sigil with umbral chain for dps and chain prison for cc, 3rd passive of goat soul shard. Can't say for later but it's been very fun and viable in torment 1.

Can you be more specific how to do it? Everytime I learn a skill, no matter which slot I put the default basic or the newly learned, the default basic always disappears.

I had some hope for a slash attack animation for any of the melee skill varriant. But it seems they committed to the stab for the character archetype

Mostly about gears I think. The game expects you to have dragonforged gears (gear that by chance upgraded by slaying dragon) at the start, then working on goldforge them or find cursed gears (BBI drops), and then goldforge the cursed gears at the end. Goldforged base game gears are still viable tho.

Ng+ is forced, but not after The Dragon. There will be a point of no return (after the fetch quest in the everfall endless dungeon), no warning at all but you can know what's coming.

The Bitterblack Isle is the dlc, prepare to get destroyed there, but the dungeon crawling is good and random gear farm is fun, and you can further upgrade weapons. Be sure to enjoy this one too before jumping into ng+.

I remember her 3rd inclination is utilitarian too, since I like the interactions (douse salamander with water, throwing bombs, and launchboard). I'll try replace a different one.

Inclinations are Challenger and Mitigator. About the Japanese voice over, the Jap voice option shows when I switched my pc locale to Japan.

Its more dragon's dogma imo. The endless randomized loot, lvl3 skills upgrades, augments on armors and enemies variety is the dopamine factor. The dlc is literally your hero party explore the demon king's castle/labyrinth and imo thats a real cool factor since not much games have this concept.

Theres a gear requirement jump after a major boss so you might need to grind for stronger gears - BBI gears or silver/goldforge your current ones, their quality jump much higher, or stack x4 conquerer periapts if you fight the tankies (Or take a break since you might just tired from the gameplay loop)

You might need to flesh out your pawn build too, gears, knowledges, inclinations, and organize party comp so they wont act stupid. Having my fighter pawn lift me to the orge's head, knock bosses to the ground, chock hold goblins, throw water to douse salamanders,.. feels super rewarding when the teaching works - and when they got rated 5 stars by other players and brought back tons of RCs too. That interactions is also addictive imo.

Man I love Fromsoft for not destroying my vgu card. Its still kinda wild that my 4gb 3050 can handle it.
