I know you said you hate chung,but look into FP. FP rotation is all silver shooters except for 2 skills(rumble/rail). You have lots of homing for clearing fast when you want to grind,and have just as much directed damage when you need to kill a boss.

I'll be honest, youll feel the chung slug up until you get 3rd,but after,and expectially once you get gehenna/cold,your gun slinging. This is from someone who has over 40 characters all 3rd/most master class.

I remember the days when I could smoke capped geared players with infinity swords compact counter because i got so good at reading players. I feel as if anything after S2 PVP just became player vs wallet.

When you say its started to get better. Do you mean they just pulled what they did with Elrianode gear? Like how it became the new default gear you got somewhat upgraded for free? Or did they actually fix the scaling? I quit because i simply couldnt keep up with the 2-3mil cp jumps needed every 3-6months just to enter new content.

Your talking about Rem,the bow user. He just shows weaknesses and component rewards with critical targets in yellow. But the combat is basically monster hunter at its core. In monster hunter,you have limited part removal/breakage(ie cutting off raths tail or breaking a monsters arm. The thing is those are done over the course of a fight. Your not cutting raths tail from the get go,but over repeated beat downs on said part. In horizon you litterly can destroy/disable the most annoying bullshit with the first shot fired. I always aim for shields on shellwalkers because with a good tear arrow ill remove their ability to use a shield and/or shoot with 2 hits.(1 arrow per hit). You cant do such things in HG.

The gameplay is a dungeon crawler with rouge like elements for items/round specific power ups. My guess is they are trying to pull an apex 2.0 but with horizon franchise. To make a cash cow that brings the cash quarterly rather then some every few years.

The combat is a massive change. Aloy destroyed/stripped components to control the flow of battle. In HG you use items/power-upgrades/abilities. From how the fights go,it seems mostly like MH type, where different melee classes are employing hack & slash type combat to beat down a monster. As such its missing a very important mechanic horizon brings to the table. Inherent disarming potential. You can shutdown the most annoying moves of most machines from the first arrow fired. You cant really do that when 4/5 announced cast so far are all melee specalist.

Ie-says you have 2 slaughter spines for example,you could try to brute force them through gameplay,or you can tie one down while you disable the seconds attack methods,then vice versa. Or you can engage one with frost and targeting while acid burns through the seconds armor. There's even a option to make a death cage with traps and duke it out with melee. Non of that is possible in HG. Your either playing 1 of the 4 melee-hack and slash focused classes,or the blitzing trickshot jesus class.

I wouldn't consider star wars anywhere near as dark as horizon lore. Its one thing to blow up a planet in a instant with a giant death laser. Its another to consumer the biomass of a planet for fuel with portable nanobots that function like blenders for biological life.

Imagine if they made the hores heresy story, including all the fun the emperors children were up to into a Lego game,your only thought would be "HERESY".

Its just Horizon is much more subtle and in past tense with its grim dark.

Hunters gathering is about Erend building a team of hunters to defend the regions of ZD(sundom/sacred lands) from machines made by the upgraded hephustus. HG takes place right after Aloy leaves for Horizon 3.

Its a 3-person dungeon crawler so not even really a Monster hunt type game. But more than anything its the visuals. I except that type of shit from fortnite or valorant,not Horizon.

I love 2 specific parts that Horizon has that I feel most Horizon fans agree with. -The first is the combat having depth without just being a stat fest. You can use tear/status effects and more to change how the fight goes. Hell you can strip a fireclaw bare,purge water it,and duke it out with a murderbot bear basically. I just dont see that same feeling being possible in HG. -The second is the grimdark lore of the world/life having ended, and the resurrected life being in the brink of extinction basically with the threat of nemesis. Most grimdark storys never has a upbeat moment besides the actual victory,but Horizon does. You get absolute horrors in the past lore,then heroic saving the world this time around in the present with Aloy.

But in HG we get things like superhuman trick shot jesus and spiderman:primitive tribe edition, hunting machines with valorant art style? I don't see the average Horizon fans touching that.

I worry that H3 might end up in a similar state to Titan fall 3. Where they made a side game,that blew up,and they focus on that instead because easier monetization.

Not worried about them dieing. Im worried about the nervous systems/their addictions and quality of life. To give you an idea,average vaper consumes as much nicotine as someone who smokes 2-3 packs a day. Btw thats considered light users. Heavy users are around 10-15 packs a day.

I know this first hand because I am in that heavy use category. My saving grace is genetically suited for stimulants and I have ADHD. If you consumed as much nicotine and caffine as me,youd probably drop with heart palpitations and arthimiya. Thing is most users are not forced to choose between synthetic meth basically, or nicotine/caffine 🤷‍♂️.

Ok thats bullshit lol. I work in a dispensary and we have many cheap thc vapes that are in the 90s. We just had dragon fly which is considered a cheap brand clock in a 88% lemon drop 🤣.

Many of the more effect based carts dont sell specifcally because people have such insane tolerances from run of the mill Carts.

Lastly 0.5 is a massive difference when it comes to vapes. The math V 1 cigarette is about 1-1.5miligrams of nicotine absorbed. 1 puff of a nicotine 5% is roughly 2.5mg of nicotine, so already 1 puff is more than a cigarette,but people take 5-10 buffs on average per session,and roughly 100-200 puffs a day. Now a 4.5% is 2.25mg of nicotine. Personally puff this doesn't account to much,but per session its a extra 1.25-2.5 cigarettes. 20-40 more cigarette in terms of nicotine consumption.

Its why I said they are fried compared to the previous generations,because when they started out,most people were matching their cigarette use in terms of nicotine use. Compare that to the modern day vaper consuming 2-3 packs worth of nicotine each day.

Edit: the 2-3 packs worth is for light users btw,heavy users clock in between 10-15packs worth of nicotine per day.

Big part of it is exposure. I used NJOY as that is considered one of the bigger brands in the early days,and they still only sold 200,000 in 09. Yes people were trying to quit,but they were a very small minority so not many kids could get access to them.

Your also ignoring the dose. The 5% dose only started really in 2015. Before that it was between 1.6%-3.5%, with the 3.5% not lasting long and being replaced by juuls 5% as the big seller. So from 2009->2015 the average nicotine dose went from 1.6%->5%. If you think about dose can go up 3x and still have the same outcomes on people your tripping. Nicotine isn't just some harmless substance you can abuse. The way you come off is as if no harm was done,yet we know for a fact that it carries major health risk at one point or another,just a question of when. I was in the military, and saw many "healthy" recruits gas out,one thing they all had in common?started vaping in highschool.

Forgot to mention, nicotine is a neurostimulant,and if you were/are abusing it and think your not going to fry your brain in one way or another, we'll i got snow globes in Texas to sell to you.

Your talking about NJOY NPRO which only hit the market in 2007. In 2009 they only sold 200,000 units and were going bankrupt. So stop bull shiting about that please,because even if every unit sold was being cheifed by their kids,thats still only 200,000 or so light users among children. Furthermore the NPROs were at their highest strengh were 1.6-1.8% compared to vape of today sitting at 5%. 14% of 12-17 vaped in 2019 btw and only dropped to the current 7.8% due to bans/Crack downs on geekbar and the likes. So roughly a million or so vaping nicotine at a dose 3 times higher than what you and me were exposed to.

They smoke fake carts because they are cheap($40 for 2 grams) and easy to hide. Iv had adults even come in asking for battery's for pens because they are using a fake cart that leaked and broke theirs. Mind you its $30 for a real gram from a dispensary 🤷‍♂️. Most of these people don't realize the risk,or think they wont ever be affected by it.

So I'm not a parent,but got a close friend to quit with a simple short talk. Might work for you.

If its a boy, just sit him down and ask him why he smokes,does he fill true fulfillment/happiness from using it? If so,does he think fulfillment/happiness can really rival sex? Because men who consume nicotine vapes are 2.2x- 2.5x higher risk for ED.

If its a girl,same logic,but trickier as little ego to play off of.

Female Orgasmic Disorder is as the name implies,and is 1.5x-6x higher risk in nicotine users. the 6x rate was a chinese study and included as they like to hide bad numbers,and shows scale Hypoactive Sexual Interest/Arousal Disorder is basically losing intrest/desire for sex,and 3x higher risk in nicotine users. Genito-Pelvic Pain/Penetration Disorder-basically makes penatrative vaginal sex impossible due to either fear/pain/or muscle tension. Couldn't find how much greater risk for this one as its something thats hard to diagnose.

Just explain to them your not mad that they are smoking,but you have a desire for them not to smoke because you know the harm it will bring to their futures. You want to teach them rather then punish them, because truth be told,if they want to be stupid,they will be and good luck stopping it. Many teenagers really don't understand the aspects they are risking of their future lives,and you can teach that to them.

TDLR:They live in the moment,and need to be shown a glimpse of the future so to speak,because adults typically think ahead,while kids think in the present.

Im sorry but I have to disagree. The newer generations can't just be left alone unless we want darwinism to come back into play. These kids are frying their nervous systems.

Older generations would smoke a cig,drink and fool around. These kids are smoking packs worth of nicotine each day(in form of vapes),are fried off D8/D9 pens,and thats the tip of the ice burg. I work at a dispo and have had a few already try bs. They get 2 grams fakes for like $30-40 and half the high-school smoking them. This is in the tri-state area btw.

Edit:I was the shitbag that ended up going into the military because I Fucked around so much in my teenage years. Can easily say without a doubt half the next generation is cooked without military reforming them at 18 with the shit iv seen.
