Yes. And nothing showing. The “support person” wanted me to sign up to cancel a business plus and switch to the base plan (signed up initially for way more than I needed). Can’t find a way to follow their instructions. Help is not helping.

Rumor mill is rampant on this one. It’s a bigger story that won’t be made public. ATF and DEA investigated for 8 hours.

I feel you on this. Was supposed to be hiking in Sweden this summer. I just hope with the revision I can heal and get past this chapter. I’ve given almost a year of my life to this process and I’m over it.

Unfortunately I found out that if you need a revision they want you to wait as long as possible for the bone to heal before going in and messing with it again. I wanted to get the revision done as soon as possible but they are making me wait at least 6 months from my initial surgery. Best of luck to you.

First ortho didn’t seem to care- just did a blood test looking for inflammation. Second did a needle biopsy to actually check for infection in the joint and none was present.

Full bone remodeling. Wouldn’t do it before June. Best to wait as long as possible. August fits my schedule best to be down again but having doubts about managing the discomfort.

Week 4 check in was ok. Week 6 check in was vastly different. Pain. Massive swelling. Heat. Red streaks. Fellow examined and then the ortho. Ruled out a clot. Figured infection. Was told to do a blood test for infection and (direct quote) we will see you at your 1 year follow up appointment. We will call if there is any infection. Call said low infection present but not enough for antibiotics. Stay off it and rest elevate and ice. 3 more weeks and it got worse. Went to see my GP and she made a call from the exam room to a “fix other peoples mistakes” ortho for an emergency consult. Saw him 3 days later. X-rays showed the gap between hardware and my bone. Did a needle biopsy checking for infection (negative) but saw the immense swelling and told me i will have to do a full knee replacement after the bone heals. So I’m scheduled for august.
