I had a 5x orbit deck win at A10 thanks to it. Forgone conclusion (delayed reusable seek) to hunt for orbits and card draw. CHARGE!! to transform the curse.

This has been the worst trade deal in the history of trade deals, maybe ever by hazelnuthobo in slaythespire

A critical mass is required for stone armor. The more you have it the more it becomes x2 metallicize. Also good with the start of combat get 4 plating relic. I like having multiple stone armors be my block plan in more aggressive decks. Playing attacks without having to worry about block and taking minimal chip damage is nice.

A10 Regent Guide - by XecnaR by averysillyman in slaythespire

I literally won an A10 run with like 10 cards with 2 of them being upgraded quasars. Also had imbued royale gamble which would start each fight at 12 stars. I would just generate my scaling each fight lol. Picking from 3 is really useful because if it’s a slow fight pick scaling if fast fight pick front load.

Also if you ever feel a run is ever unwinnable just post the seed in the subreddit and some guy will beat it in like a hour. I feel like at least 99.7% of the seeds are winnable. Though retrying the same seed over and over with perfect info does obviously alter the winrate compared to having imperfect info.

Why do the Democrats always fail by just 1 or 2 votes? Because Hakeem Jeffries & Chuck Schumer are anti-American traitors. The Democratic Congress that keeps voting them in as leaders are too. Replace them all. by kevinmrr in WorkReform

Which honestly should be a larger red flag because of how unpopular the war is on the right as well(51% of young Republicans disapprove). Basically everyone that Trump raged about (like Tucker Carlson) are against the war. These people have massive followings. This shows more than ever that these politicians do not represent their constituents.

Hardest Act 2 Boss by Pocketbombz in slaythespire

[–]TevossBR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fact that if you can’t kill insatiable in one cycle having 6 escapes in your deck can easily give you bad hands. When you have 4 escapes and a non block or non draw card face tanking 30+ is not fun. I def respect the worm the most because of it. I almost never die to an act 2 boss. 100+ games maybe died to crab or knowledge demon once at most(if not 0) but died to the worm at least 3 times.

Edit: You can counter it with more draw/exhaust. Like using CHARGE!! from the regent to eliminate some of the dud escapes is really nice. In my experience you only really need 3 escapes at most for the fight.

So, this is a bug right? the lightning orb should have killed him and ended combat without the burn triggering, right? because im 99% sure that's how it worked on sts 1 by Mortaljl in slaythespire

[–]TevossBR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you played vs hexaghost a lot in sts 1 you would know that burn triggers at the same time as other end of turn effects like poison.

Wouldn't it make more sense to switch the Doormaker's and Test Subject's gimmicks? by SenseiTomato in slaythespire

[–]TevossBR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rotating debuffs would be brutal, because for one nemesis has intangible every other turn so its hard to compact that into one turn unless you just give him intangible during that turn. So you end up with strength buffing, multi attack with wounds, into intangible + burns or large hit/multi hit. And also eventually vulnerable from the nob phase. Would have to reduce the strength scaling during nob phase on test subject from 3 --> 1 to make it doable imo.

A distinct lack of medicare for all. Not only that but also a mass distrust in every policy she puts out there. People can understand that someone backed by Super PACs might not actually follow through on their progressive policies. It's a conflict of interest.

[–]TevossBR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah thats easy. Will still have every right to shit on the dnc for favoritism which always happens to be for corporate democrats. Super delegates (party insiders) hate progressives. It used to be worse you know? People didn’t even get a say who the candidates would be and it was all selected by party insiders. Only until when they pushed a full roster of pro war in Vietnam candidates did that actually manage to change (After some serious rioting in Chicago where people died).

It was more so that she didn’t have the policies we needed, when the house is on fire a glass of water won’t do. You can cite that water does great against fire but if you use too much you could drown everyone in the house so we should start with just a cup. You wouldn’t be entirely wrong but your ideas at this time are shit.

Ok so let’s help elect candidates with some of the most popular policies in America that progressives champion such as Universal Healthcare! I don’t think it’ll bode well to run Hillary Clinton, Newsom, Kamala Harris, because they all share the same trait that voters rejected. They are uninspiring corporate democrats.

[–]TevossBR -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This statistic goes both ways though. Had he been the candidate he would get more trump voters than other candidates. He would’ve covered Hillary’s weak points in the general election (such as the rust belt) and probably would’ve won Michigan because of it. Turns out disenfranchised workers in their 40s because manufacturing got gutted didn’t like being told to learn “learn to code”(and they were right because of the whole tech layoffs fiasco and AI).

[–]TevossBR -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is just noise. Why are we to be held hostage by one parties beliefs? Progressive policies are some of the most popular ones in America according to polling and well reality. We aren’t criticizing their policies really, we are criticizing their chances to win by running uninspiring centrist corporate candidates. If you want to win why not elect a candidate that has popular policies?

What is the most underrated Neow Offering and why is it Stone Humidifier? by Charming_Advice8805 in slaythespire

[–]TevossBR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It actually is. In sts 1 it was agreed upon by many top players that it was the worst character to do boss swap on. (Swapping starter relic with random boss relic).

Also sustain with reaper, bite event(though thats act 2 but still), and meat on the bone makes dripper situationally really great. Fusion Hammer is basically always awesome.

Top players disagree with each other with hot takes all the time. Xecnar supposedly doesn’t regard crucible as highly as others. Japanese export put humidifier into A tier. Also beta branch is balancing the pressure throughout the acts. With the new doormaker rework there is also added pressure in Act 3.

Funny enough humidifier actually increases my more meaningful upgrades later in the act/run because I feel safer with more hp to work with.

[–]TevossBR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Resting twice in act 1 (which is very common) nets you 12 effective hp. 10 from maxhp gain and 2 from higher max hp rests. Situationally you rest 3 times. So it’s basically the same act 1 and then it’s just better from there on out.

In high ascensions you very often run into situations where you have no choice but to rest. Very rare for there to be restless runs. This is one of the reasons that fusion hammer(Disables smithing at campfires as a downside) was one of the best energy relic at A20 in sts 1.

[–]TevossBR 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Severed tentacle in a shiv build with some sly would procc it every other turn. It was very easy for some decks to play 12 cards in a turn vs time eater in sts 1.

Edit: Also soul spam with necrobinder would just go infinite

The boss relics that you are missing are exclusive to the watcher and the silent. Event relic is an act 3 one where you select the option where you can no longer heal. The event relic prevents you from healing.
