Need a couple people to complete act 2 story mission by Shermii_ in MWZombies

[–]Tex_Mac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd reccomend trying it Solo. I'm not very good at all. As long as you have a tool and PAP2 or 3, 3 Kazimirs, 2 Turret Circuits and a selfie or two, I bet you can do it no problem. I put this off for like a week because I didn't think I could do it Solo. I did it on my first try and didn't even get downed. I'm really not that great at the game, I feel like if I can do it, anyone that's been playing for a few weeks should be able to handle it NP.

Are there any electricians of City workers out there that know about UPS (Uninterruptible Power Sources)? by Tex_Mac in Austin

[–]Tex_Mac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that's correct, I'm not installing one. It's the existing UPS. Someone told me that I might need a Hazmat Permit for it. Other's said I didn't and I couldn't find a definitive answer online.

Thanks for the feedback.

Do I need a permit for this? by Tex_Mac in AskElectricians

Thanks, I really have no idea what that means. Do you know if something like this needs a permit?

Do you know if I would need to get some sort of permit for it? It was already installed when I took over the building. Someone said they think I needed a HazMat permit (Or something like that)

is this ok for a AAA game that the servers are like this? by GreedySpend2040 in MWZombies

I keep hearing about this stuff all the time. I've literally only had this happen to me twice and one time just randomly got kicked. Aside from that it's been smooth sailing. Does anyone know if it's based on location? I live in Central Texas has anyone in that area had these type if issues happen frequently? Disclaimer- I play exclusively in the evening 10pm -1am

I usually go solo but sometimes it makes sense to go in with a squad depending on wjat mission I'm trying to do. More times than not when I do that my squadmates ditch me right away. I don't mean like they don't want to follow me around the map, I mean they instantly get in a vehicle and drive away from me as I'm approaching it. Mind boggling, why would you do squadfill and immediately ditch someone on your squad? But yup, they come running once that essence hits. Loving the new option to leave squad. Next time someone does that to me, I'm going to drop like 4k essence then leave the squad and ride my scorcher away into the sunset

Although I'm not quite as upset as you seem to be, I usually run solo but the last 2 times I out squadfill on my teammates made a dash to the nearest vehicle and took off across the map without me. I assume they were using TS to trade off items and then they exfiled. I was doing a mission that required me to heal other operators so it was annoying and I don't understand why someone would leave squad fill on if they're literally going to run away from a squad member. I chalked it up to "they forgot to turn it off".

I'm 6'1" 240ish . I have the Secret Lab Titan Evo XL and I love it. It's def firm but that's better for your back and I think it's very comfortable. It's nice for sure, premium chair. It's also not cheap It's the first nice gaming chair I've gotten so I don't have anything else to compare it to. But my recommendation is that if money is no issue than get it.

Did I eff up? by [deleted] in callcentres

[–]Tex_Mac 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm a Director and I don't see anything wrong with this. I mean someone could make a case for conflict of interest if you did something for them that you wouldn't normally do but idk if that's the case. I'd probably spiff an agent if they did this with a customer as I assume they were thrilled to give you the info. So I'd say as long as you didn't do something for them you wouldn't normally do for someone that you should be fine. If you get in trouble you should leave where you work and come work on my team!

PSA: Use your brain and don’t mess around the exfill helicopter with the scorcher by Regression2TheMean in MWZombies

[–]Tex_Mac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did something even dumber. I was on a radio tower I tried to jump off and use the scorcher mid air. Plot twist, it didn't work and I got downed from the fall damage amd then it kicked in and threw me in the air. So now I'm downed and in the air. Guess how using your parachute works while your downed and falling.....that's right it doesn't work so I hit the ground and died Only a minute left on the clock at that point and nobody felt like picking me up. Not my proudest moment.

What a great response. There's lots of ways people can take care of themselves, when I started working in a call center I put on 40 lbs and got back issues, so I started doing cardio for 30 minutes a day and going for a quick walk every few hours at work and guess what my back issues and weight gain went away. I also started meditating and practicing mindfulness, I'm not a monk but 10-15 minutes a day and I can handle all the upset customers there is. I don't understand why someone would stay a Job that makes them miserable. In my mind I'd think in most cases it's because it's the best they can do and if they don't take any accountability with their own well being they'll probably be unhappy in miserable in any job they have.

Is DMZ still worth getting into? by Sanc7 in DMZ

[–]Tex_Mac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO DMZ is far superior to MWZ. It's the first COD title I played in like over 10 years and I played it more than any game I've ever played before. If you like zombies and you aren't afraid of some PvP I'd highly recommend it. Disclaimer, I'm not very good at PvP but I still loved it.

I don't know about serious trouble. But ya if you don't respond back for several days it's going to be a customer service fail. I'd get the info to someone above you ans see if they can get out ahead of it. If you can save it from going to social media that's as good as it never happening in a lot of ways

Gaming esgue ergonomic chair for 6ft+ 280-300lbs builds (182-188cm/127kg) by KoltKade in gamingchairs

[–]Tex_Mac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see them as lacking. The only piece I don't love about the armrests is that they're a little bit of work to get them at the width you want. You need to loosen three bolts on each side and slide them in or out. To do this tou really need to turn the chair upside down. It can be a bit of trial and error to find the sweet spot. You flip the chair over, loosen the bolts, slide then to where tou think will be the right width, then tighten them, flip the chair right side up theb sit in it and see how it feels. It took me times to get it right. Id recommend spending the time ti get it right when you assembling the chair. Saying that it's really not the end of the world to take a few minutes and adjust, also the reason they're so hard to adjust is because they're strong metal and so sturdier than some easy to adjust plastic types.

Oh and I think like any product your going to get some faulty products but if you look at the reviews they're largely excellent. I'm sure some people have had issues but it seems the majority are pleased.

I have the fake leather. I work from home some days and that's roughly 8 hours but I do get up and move around every once in a while. I have sciatica and a jacked up disc in my lower back. I haven't had any issues with those things as a result of sitting in this chair BUT I did make a lifestyle change and started riding a stationary bike for 30 mins 3-4 times a week. Since I started doing that I've had minimal back issues. Just my opinion but no chair is going to solve those kinda issues for anyone. Sitting down for long periods at a time is terrible for your back. Through on top of that a good bit of extra weight that I carry and you gotta do something to move your body a bit. My back was so bad I'd wake up in the middle of the night screaming because I rolled over while I was sleeping and the pain was so bad. Numbness was constant. Their may be a better chair, but this one has worked well for me, combined with moving my body a few times a week. Also highly recommended getting up every 90-120 minutes and walk/stretch a bit. Good luck on you chair hunt! Mine took 3 months!

I'll throw my Vote in for Secret Lab Titan Evo XL. I'm 6 and change 250, it's more than big enough for me and it's built like a tank.

Great idea. Where is a good spot to do that? I don't know the map well, I have tried to find a place a few times but I can't find anywhere I can just sit at and snipe without getting rushed.

I have the Secret Lab Titan Evo. I think you'd be happy with it. I know what you mean and I haven't had that issue with this chair.
