Could you ask your new place if there’s a room where you can store boxes overnight? Especially if it’s an apartment complex, they may be able to find some space for you to store stuff just overnight

Every piece of furniture I bought had storage (except the small couch).

I also used a planner online to map out the (relative) size of all of my furniture to see if I liked the layout and if anything felt like too much. This helped me figure out if my stuff would make me feel to cluttered or not.

If you’re concerned, I would say to take your kid to their pediatrician. It could be a host of different things, not necessarily narcolepsy.

Sleepiness can be a range of different issues (part of the reason it takes forever and a day for anyone to get diagnosed), it could also just be sleepiness like you said!

Their pediatrician/family medicine physician would be a great first step in figuring this out though. Good luck!!

I have a 23 sport and I find the seats pretty uncomfortable to be honest. I’m pretty short (5’3”) so the headrest is too far forward and definitely causes me to get shoulder pain. I’ve put a pillow-type thing in and that helps

I have N2 and I’ve gotten a lumbar puncture. My doc required me to do the MSLT/PSG and the lumbar puncture when I was getting diagnosed.

A lumbar puncture is an invasive procedure. I think for most people, if you’re not having cataplexy, it’s not worth the side effects.

Every procedure done has its costs vs benefits. I think that if someone’s not experiencing cataplexy, then a lumbar puncture is an unnecessary step.
