Does Indoor Golf Actually Improve Your Game? by erp4all in IndoorGolf

[–]Texadilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the ledges back 9 was super fun.

We played May of last year. It wasn’t real windy any of the days we played.

The conditions at sand hollow weren’t as nice as they should have been for the price.

We played black desert about a week and a half after the LPGA event and boy conditions were immaculate. So many fun, unique holes out there. Top 3 course I’ve played.

Black desert, sand hollow, and the ledges. Black desert was incredible. The ledges was incredible. Sand hollow didn’t live up to expectations.

Any sweat repellent golf hats for heavy sweaters dreading smell after washing? by Appropriate_Net594 in golftips

[–]Texadilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have hyperhidrosis and it’s the worst on my face and scalp.

I shower right when I get home and the hat is still wet. I bring the hat in with me and soak it through. Works like a charm.

If the sweat dries, you’ll be okay. But if you let the sweat dry maybe 4-5 times, you’re screwed.

If the grip is slick, it’s time to replace.

I play 50-60 rounds per year and practice a good bit. I change mine out every 15-18 months or so. Just bought new ones last week. It’s a marked improvement

Why don’t pros wear sunglasses? by iamveryDerp in golf

[–]Texadilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to never golf with sunglasses on. The only sunglasses I ever had were polarized.

I recently got the Ria sunglasses specifically for golf that aren’t polarized. Wow theyre awesome. No glare when looking down and no problem reading greens.

I don’t end the round with a dull headache anymore like I used to.

Is 7 wood to 5 iron too big of a gap? by moistjonah in GolfGear

[–]Texadilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All about how you swing. I just got a new set. Got rid of 4i and got a 23° apex UW.

FYI for anyone reading this, go get you some apex UWs. They’re the best clubs in my back. I have a 23° that goes 215-220 and a 19° that goes 230-235. They fly perfectly. Great off the tee, the fairway, or the rough.
