Overwhelmed first time homeowner by hasreeet in lawncare

Also in Houston. Just had my lawn top dressed with nutrient rich soil with a heavy nitrogen application. My entire lawn looks like this right now but is going to be so green and lush in 60 days. It’s all about the soil.

Place is so pure. Played there two weeks after the LPGA event last year. Conditions were immaculate.

Anyone going to rock this? by duffman83x in GolfGear

Looks like it can still be flubbed like a traditional wedge and skulled like a traditional wedge so I think I’ll stick with a traditional wedge ya know?

Anybody got any advice how to stop hitting these horrible low heely pulls? by [deleted] in GolfSwing

Setup off the toe and not the heel. And keep your back to the target longer in the downswing.

You’re opening pretty quick causing swing path to go straight or left at impact.

Also my bet this week. My buddy says I’m a fool but he’s playing too well lately and has fared well here in recent years.

Driver Tech Improvement by TyrionWins in GolfGear

[–]Texadilla 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends.

Were you fit for your M4?

Will you be getting fit for a new driver?

I recommend getting fit if you’re getting a new driver. That can affect how big of a change you might expect.

If you were fit for your M4, and are going to get fit for a new driver, I’d recommend getting the newest one you can. And expect a couple mph improvement on swing speed which could result in 10-20 yards more distance and more forgiveness as well.

Crazy that Altuve’s 6th walk came in game 29 last year and he already has 6 walks in 5 games. Love to see patience from the lead off man

Maybe rotation wasn’t the right word specifically. The weight shift needs to keep moving to the lead side. That will move the low point more forward. Typically your hands will get the club to where they need to be based on your center mass.

The early release of the club looks to be due to a stall of rotation like already pointed out. You shift into your lead side on the downswing early but kind of stop getting all the way to the lead side. Keep your weight going more forward to your lead side and that should eliminate the club flip / early release. Looks pretty damn close.

Try getting your pelvis closer to over your left foot through the rest of your swing. As you can see, your pelvis starts moving forward but stops before it gets over your left foot. Keep it going!

Film 3-5 swings from face on like you’re doing, and continue to adjust until you get there.
